About
A Little Age is a cozy, match-based settlement builder where you start with a single hamlet, reveal the world as your civilization expands, establish new settlements, and grow them into a connected network of towns and cities.
There are no enemies, hostile events, or punishing interruptions to worry about. Each playthrough offers around one to two hours of laid-back interactions. You can pause whenever you want, exit at any time, and resume later.
You only have three resources to worry about: Food, Materials, and Gold. Each settlement has its own production and local economy. Hire delivery guys to move resources between settlements, boost new towns, and support places that have to grow in less-than-ideal conditions.

Each time you play the world is unique. Biomes and resources create new challenges and problems to solve, and not every settlement will have an ideal environment. Some settlements will depend on the trade network to function properly. A Little Age uses a detailed procedural world generation system to create a new world every time.

As your civilization grows, you will choose new advancements and build a great temple to celebrate your new homeland. Your settlements can support each other, pool their resources, and grow into a healthier civilization through collaboration.

If you enjoy city building simulations, you may very well enjoy playing this game. This was a GREAT game to build towns and help them grow, work together and organize how to create the temple as the difficulty increases as the temple is built. You need to pay attention to where you locate the hamlets (towns) in relation to where the resources are, what type of terrain they are in. I especially enjoy the chill nature and simplicity of the game itself. This allows you to concentrate on those few basic mechanics instead of several. I played they demo, and it is a bit different where it added some challenges to make the game a little better. I recommend trying the demo first, and if you enjoyed it, purchase this game :) I enjoyed this game, and will continue playing it.
I really enjoyed this game since the demo. I think it is fun and charming. I feel like there could be a lot more to it for the price. I think having more upgrades or levels of civilizations would make it more interesting. I also wish there was more use out of certain spaces rather than having so much wasted area where I can't build anything. regardless, i really enjoyed and was captivated by this game!

not a bad city builder, but pretty short for the price
This game is nice and chill. It's really satisfying to see the roads forming and to trade between cities. would be nice to maybe have a bit more difficulty tho. The bandit mechanic is a bit of a non issue and so are the consequences of starving settelments and cities of all their ressources for the temple.
Generally a fine little game to pass the time or to play on your second screen. Once you set up your towns and secure the logistics you don't have to pay much attention to it, basically a "number go up" game. It's a bit shallow at the moment but the foundation is solid. Also the dev said that they will support and expand this game long-term. In short, if you like this kind of gameplay then buy it and if you're not sure then try the demo and find out. @Dev: I really really like the desert biome where food sources can be missing. It felt good to see a growing mining town in the middle of desert and it's lifeline of carts full of food going all the way to the other side of the map. I hope to see more difficult maps where you can't just plop farms all around. For example: highlands, mountains, tundra, taiga, savanna, polar or subpolar. Hell, hell even!
A very fun concept that I definitely enjoyed but the game doesn't seem finished at all yet. There are still quite a few bugs, and the amount of content is very minimal. For now: do not recommend. But, hopefully it'll shape up nicely in a year or so. I'd love to change my review by then.
Game is mid, too much of a grind, not enough variety, very little things to do. Overall there are better games out there for your $15
It's not going to take you long to beat this. You DEFINITELY should know that going into it. Personally, $10 is a fair price. The game is cute, the mechanics are nice, it's a cozy little game that will have solid replayability for a certain segment of the population. I see it retails for $15... that's kinda pushing it. I beat the game in about 3 hours, and I'm not exactly a hardcore gamer. But wait for it to be on sale, or just spend $5 more than you probably should. Lord knows I'd rather throw it at an indie game developer than most of the other options...
A perfect start to a cozy little colony builder. Game needs some more things added in the future but I think its worth it now. Cant wait for future updates!
i did run out of cozy and minimalist things to do earlier than expected however the game threatened me with a calming and relaxing time therefore i quickly defeated all its intentions by "winning" very quickly and aggressively but i enjoyed doing it
