About
A Little Age is a cozy, match-based settlement builder where you start with a single hamlet, reveal the world as your civilization expands, establish new settlements, and grow them into a connected network of towns and cities.
There are no enemies, hostile events, or punishing interruptions to worry about. Each playthrough offers around one to two hours of laid-back interactions. You can pause whenever you want, exit at any time, and resume later.
You only have three resources to worry about: Food, Materials, and Gold. Each settlement has its own production and local economy. Hire delivery guys to move resources between settlements, boost new towns, and support places that have to grow in less-than-ideal conditions.

Each time you play the world is unique. Biomes and resources create new challenges and problems to solve, and not every settlement will have an ideal environment. Some settlements will depend on the trade network to function properly. A Little Age uses a detailed procedural world generation system to create a new world every time.

As your civilization grows, you will choose new advancements and build a great temple to celebrate your new homeland. Your settlements can support each other, pool their resources, and grow into a healthier civilization through collaboration.

Lovely little game to sit down with when you just want to relax and take things at your own pace. I really like how simple and approachable everything feels. Exploring the map, discovering new areas, setting up settlements and slowly figuring out how to make everything work together is surprisingly satisfying. There’s enough strategy to keep things interesting without ever feeling stressful or overwhelming.
It's not going to take you long to beat this. You DEFINITELY should know that going into it. Personally, $10 is a fair price. The game is cute, the mechanics are nice, it's a cozy little game that will have solid replayability for a certain segment of the population. I see it retails for $15... that's kinda pushing it. I beat the game in about 3 hours, and I'm not exactly a hardcore gamer. But wait for it to be on sale, or just spend $5 more than you probably should. Lord knows I'd rather throw it at an indie game developer than most of the other options...

This game is nice and chill. It's really satisfying to see the roads forming and to trade between cities. would be nice to maybe have a bit more difficulty tho. The bandit mechanic is a bit of a non issue and so are the consequences of starving settelments and cities of all their ressources for the temple.
An enjoyable and chill little experience. The game is easy to pickup and play and lets you decide your rythm. The first few times I got acquainted with the tempo by striving to reach the goal as fast and efficiently as possible, but I discovered I can also play it as a semi-idle experience while I do other stuff on my pc. I loved the vibes of it all.
It's cute, I beat it in just under 2 hours on my 1st play through after playing the demo once. I wanted to buy it to support the dev, but 2 hours is really short and I got 12/16 achievements on the 1st play through. I'll play it once more to get the remaining achievements, and maybe a different map would allow for a little different play style, but very lacking in replayability and at 2 hours, not really worth the money. Hopefully, the dev will add more in the future 2nd playthrough took 10 min longer because making a mining only settlement (zero food achievement) is dumb and throws off the balance of the game. I had to make extra food-only settlements to feed the mining settlement at a two to one ratio because building the temple wants equal food and materials. this caused a tremendous gold pile up where all the non-mining settlements had 999 gold. Game is not balanced and there's actually NEGATIVE incentive to have any settlement other than balanced! This goes against the whole premise the game where the point is the settlements are supposed to be working together. Unfortunately, the best way to play the game is for all settlements to be 100% balanced, self-sufficient, independent. All extra food, materials and gold goes to the temple in equal amounts with no wasted senders needing to send anything between settlements. sad.
This is a game I have been waiting for, ofc there are some Minor issues, It still is a Very fresh release of an Indie Dev / Dev Studio, but the game on Itself, I believe you can Play it for hours, I am excited for Future Game Drops, with new Features, i feel like this could also be an Awesome Multiplayer game, it has alot of potential and it is already good. Rn the Game is to chill, no stress just you and the Game.
Meh. It's a nice little game alright.
A perfectly passable title, yet conspicuously undercooked. “A Little Age” feels bereft of roughly two-thirds of the substance found in the genre’s more accomplished offerings: no meaningful adversaries, scant challenge, and remarkably little depth in construction, gameplay or upgrading. I had exhausted my patience within 42 minutes.
yea
