Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

20xx is a game with good gameplay and music that is unfortunately ruined by design decisions anti-thematical to the roguelite genre. 1. Your currency for unlocking permanent upgrades doesn't carry over between runs. Yes you read that correctly. Either you gained enough soul chips during a run to unlock something or you unlock nothing and hope to do better on the next run. 2. No permanent upgrades list. You can neither view your unlocked upgrades in clarity nor plan ahead for future ones. Instead of a list, there's a permanent upgrades area at the hub that will give you 3 options for upgrades. That's it. I've never come across this in any roguelite... ever. There's always a clear list of upgrades and your currency is always secure. Only get this game if the above issues aren't issues to you.

is just not that great, bosses and controls are fine, but for the most part is empty levels and bland items
Really wasn't for me. I wanted something megaman like for steamdeck, but this just didn't hit. Lacks polish.
I thought this would feel more like Mega Man... It just feels like a flash game....
20XX is a good game, and I don’t regret buying it. Is it as good as Mega Man X? No. It’s a roguelike, so it can’t have the tight level design and handcrafted campaign of Mega Man X. Its design is for replayability, not a tight game you play once. Strengths of both: 20XX has 2-player co-op, compared to Mega Man X’s 1-player mode, so I can play with my nieces and nephews. Mega Man X has better bosses in both design and gameplay. 20XX has daily and weekly challenges. Mega Man X has much better music. 20XX, with the DLC, has 4 characters to choose from, compared to Mega Man X’s 1 character. Mega Man X has a much better story. 20XX had two full-time core developers: Chris King — programming, design, and production. Zach Urtes — artwork. A few part-time contributors. Mega Man X (1993) credits 37 individual people for the original Super Nintendo version. About 8 of them worked on a previous Mega Man game. I like 20XX because it shows what can be done by a few people in 2017. Now, in 2026, I believe so much more can be done. This is how I would rank the game compared to other roguelike games I have played: 1. Enter the Gungeon 2. 20XX 3. Moonlighter 4. Spelunky 5. The Swindle A few I’m going to play in the future: Rogue Legacy Streets of Rogue Exit the Gungeon Hades Dead Cells Risk of Rain 1 and 2 Slay the Spire The Binding of Isaac Hades 2 30XX
Another and long-time good clone of the well-known Megaman. No less hardcore than the original, great music, beautifully made backdrops and bright and juicy graphics. For fans of Megaman and platformers, definitely in the collection.
This game is basically what if Megaman and a rogue like game had a baby. This is a pure knock off of Megaman, in every sense of the word. From the intro (the building scrolling up), to 8 robot masters with no story including "Dr Light" and "Dr Wily" who aren't bad guys in this...for once. The story is non-existent. From viewing what little there is of the "story" the robot masters have went haywire and it's up to Megagirl (Nina) and her trusty sidekick (Ace - who is a pure knock off from Zero who also uses a saber). The robot masters don't even have any cutscenes, they are just there to defeat. It would have been nice if they implemented SOMETHING to give a better sense of the story. Yes, Megaman style games aren't there for the story telling, but it would have been nice to have some idea what's going on and interaction as well. A lot of rogue likes actually do that, when you repeat a boss, you get more lore/story etc. Graphically, the game looks like something of a flash game, but it's not bad. Control is pretty well done as well and the music gives that retro vibe. As a roguelike? It stands on it's own, however, in all of the "runs" played, the roguelike began turning into a bullet hell. Near halfway through the game, they throw everything at the ceiling and see what sticks. The only "RNG" that is shown here is the robot master order and the stage lay out. What really hurt this game, especially for a roguelike game, was turning into a pure bullet hell. There are no "rules" for platforming, but bullet hell and platforming just don't mix. That's more of the shoot'em up catagory. If the game wasn't a roguelike, this would like be more effective, but in the end it just flops. Aside from being pure knock off of megaman, nothing original or innovative that includes the foes. Unless you're a massive fan of rogue likes and a massive fan of Megaman, stay away from this one. If they ever address the bullet hell part of the game and balance it out, this could be a decent video game. 4/10
