About
Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed.
Noa Brooklyn was born The Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
Explore a handcrafted Amsterdam by day. At night, uncover what lies beneath its surface. Every facade carries a gablestone. Not all of them tell the truth.
The Originals walk among Amsterdam’s citizens, hidden behind human faces. Identify them. Mark them. When the Esbat comes, confront them in their true form under the moon. Collect what is owed.
Noa commands witchcraft and spellcasting passed down through generations of Zaindaris. Each target can be approached in multiple ways. Strategy, timing, and choice define the outcome. Every Esbat is a reckoning.
Noa is not alone. Aaron, summoned from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat. Together, they are one: Switch between Noa and Aaron across two radically different playstyles. One wields witchcraft. The other has four paws and flair.

Regolatevi. Non potete comparare ogni singolo gioco, a livello grafico, a GTA o The Witcher.

Weiter so !!
A történet két idősíkon (1666, 1999) fut. I was so hyped for this game. I couldn't wait to try it, saved one of my evenings, put my best headset on and got started. The first few minutes were great, atmospheric, visually beautiful. It showed all the potential that could have been there if that game wasn't so damn bad. You slow walk everywhere. You can't actually sprint or run, you can't skip the atrocious cutscenes, the mechanics are bad, the control feels unnatural. Again, it would be a lot more tolerable if you didn't have to go SO SLOW?? I feel like I'm dragging a very heavy brick through corridors and libraries and whatnot. The cats controls are better but still not great. The whole point of choosing a cat feels useless since it's always the same guy in there. Onto combat: it's BAD. You get hit thrice and that's it, you're dead. It's super frustrating when facing multiple ennemies at once. Instead of teaching you the combat mechanics while in game by showing a 'press E to attack' 'press space to dodge', they briedly show you instructions in a pop up and leave you to it. The first 30mn of the game are basically a narrative game where NOTHING happens, you get thrown a billion bits of text to read and have some guy talk your ears out to do the whole exposition, which is usually a sign of poor direction. If you can't get your point across by showing it, it means you need to rework the story. Some pepole lurk on Reddit and on Steam, accusing anyone leaving a bad review of being Ubisoft and then they resort to ad hominem attacks. I don't know if these weirdos are part of the dev team or just some random fans, but it's cringe as hell and gives a bad image of the community. I couldn't find the mental fortitude to keep playing. I haven't even reached the hour mark, because I am very much considering asking for a refund. I will probably keep trying to be fair and to give indie devs a fair chance, but lord it's BAD and I sincerely hope the team gets their act together and fixes things. It could have been such an excellent game, honestly.
It is still in Early Access, but it already has all the ingredients to become a truly great game. Even in its current state, I found myself genuinely impressed and entertained by many aspects of it. The the story and its premises have already caught my attention, while the graphics do a great job of bringing its world to life. And then there's the ability to transform into a cat, which is definitely a feature I didn't know I needed (or did I?) It isn't without its flaws, of course. The combat can feel a little clunky at times. I also encountered a small but amusing bug a couple of times: during interactions, characters can move in perfect sync with you, almost as if they're glued to you. Occasionally, they seem to detach and get stuck repeating a random line indefinitely. It may even have been my fault, tho, for not realizing I could simply re-interact with them (uh...I think?) but thankfully it never became a serious issue. Overall, I've had a genuinely great time with 1666 Amsterdam, and I'm very happy I decided to pick it up so close to launch. If this is what the game already looks like in Early Access, I'm very curious to see where it goes from here, yep yep
Beautiful game with a setting that was missing. Only a few small problems with the italian subtitles, but it's ok, it's early access. Highly recommended.
