The config doesn't seem to work at all. Changing the controller assignment has no effect. Game runs at 30 fps in the first area with monsters on a 3080 graphics card. First steam review I love the franchise and have played all Ys games to date. I've already enjoyed Ys10 with Switch, however I couldn't wait for Steam release to come out and play this masterpiece with good graphics. However, I cannot recommend the purchase yet, not because the game is bad but because porting is horrible like many others have pointed - Frame drop happening during cut scenes, map change...etc - random termination - sometimes once every couple minutes, sometimes after hour or two, sometimes never. just random - Random freezing during loading All of these are technical issues happening due to poor QA. I'm very saddened that one of my favourites got ruined like this on a PC port.

There is a crash dump file bug, it is created upon closure in in the C drive-Users-[username]-AppData-Local-CrashDumps. The file size is about 300MB. The only way to prevent it is to exit the game by clicking the option from the Steam library. However, exiting the game via the Steam Library when the "WARNING" popup is displayed after starting the game will still create a crash-dump file. Exiting the game with the exit option in-game will also create a crash dump. Boot into the game completely first, then close the game from Steam itself to prevent the 300MB crash file. This really MUST be fixed!
