Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Another great YS game, maybe looking a little dated but with the solid game play and great story expected of this series. Recommended
I played on Hard mode and found some parts of the game surprisingly difficult, but really apart from that-- it's truly one of Falcom's greats. The music, story and characters are of quality that I wasn't expecting considering how old / archaic it looks.
Literally peak fiction.

Mainly played on Steam Deck, with GE Proton to fix minor issues with movies / cutscenes. A solid, if a bit rough, Ys entry. The first game to use the 3-member party system, with different attack types and their effectiveness being key to party building. Overall good controls, great music, a fun setting, and a story that gets pretty decent in the back half. For issues, the map options aren't great - one large, full 'world' map that doesn't show a lot of detail, and current-area map that doesn't label exits, even after you've been to them. Likewise, while most of the basic enemies and bosses are well built, I'd say about 1 in 3 boss fights are actually pretty bad - bad camera angles, wonky hitboxes, massive full-party stunlock, and poor telegraphing. However, no boss is immune to a bit of grinding, and fast travel points are frequent enough to overcome most map issues. Solid 7/10, and a welcome throwback into the era before Ys 8 & 9.
好遊戲,就是中文要自己去找補丁,補釘會有bug
An excellent 4/5 action RPG. Acceptable story, fun combat.
The first Ys game to have the 3 party member mechanics and it shows in how rough (not bad) they handle it, like when swapping party members they do not just swap the currently controlled character like they do in the games after this, so if you swap to someone stuck at the start of the zone then the camera moves to them, but i do like how attack skills are tied to weapons, so a weapon will have a skill and by using that skill you can learn it permanently, so you always know what you are about to get and if you skip a weapon a latter weapon can have old weapon skills. The game has perfect guard but no flash dodge and it works like all the other versions except it only guarantees a critical hit for one attack unlike the whole duration but invulnerability still last the whole time. Most of the characters are neat and all feel unique to play but that's the same for each game with the party mechanic and unfortunately the only game still that lets you have Dogi or Geis as party members BUT you get to have Dogi and Geis as party members! This game also still has my favorite Adol story moment even after all these years after playing the original on the PsP. also has a neat mechanic that's handled the best (in my opinion) where after a certain point in the game adol gets access to new sword types that he can equip that change his attack type so he can fill the role of another type instead of slash by become a crush or pierce attack and his attack speed and changes based on the type so in conclusion if you have played a ys games that has come after this with the 3 party member mechanic (Ys: Memories of Celceta, Ys Vlll lacrimosa of Danna or Ys IX: Monstrum Nox) and haven't played this and wanna know how the first game of this style played like its definitely worth it even with its flaws but maybe wait for a sale if you're unsure
Первый 3д-шный Ys, не скажу что лучшая часть в серии, но как первая часть с новой боевкой - респект.
