Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I wouldn't buy this game if you thourougly enjoyed the formula of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2, as it is somewhat different, but I really like it. I got it for the Steam sale in the XCOM: Ultimate Collection for £13 and I don't think I would have bought it otherwise, but I am so far enjoying the game. The hand-drawn asthetic of the cutscenes is really nice, and the breach mechanic is really fun, and on my computer, it runs quite smoothly. Overall, it is quite different to the other XCOM games, but if it's on Steam sale, buy it.
Fun spinoff of the x-com series. Recommended before tackling the much harder Enemy Within on X-Com 2 campaigns

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Worst purchase ever. Being fun of the two previous versions, shocked by change of developers. Are they all punks?
1. This is not really a proper XCOM game imo, still enjoyable but the smaller scale cement this as a spin-off 2. Having aliens in your squad is really cool and I hope they bring it back for XCOM 3 (I'm not delusional I swear) 3. wtaf did they do to mutons they look so fugly now 4. Andromedon rights
Uma proposta diferente, mas OK. Prefiro o tradicional, mas é um jogo "OK".
这作烂完了,一点感觉不到魅力了,泯然众人了,可惜没有后续的可能了,只能补刀了。

Love it, reminds me of mario and rabbits but it's xcom!
It feels more like a mod for XCOM 2 rather then it's own game but tbf it's also pretty cheap. Mechanically, it's kind of like XCOM lite with smaller combat areas and heavily simplified "world" map. The unique character abilities are where this game really shines and everyone I played was at least good. It's great to finally be able to play the enemy units we never got to play (outside of mods). I like the building breach mechanics but at the same time feel they're very underutilized. I think I only got to use vent breaches maybe like 3 times out of ~50 missions, most of the time it was just kicking a door or window in. The game is unfortunately really dragged down by it's dialogue. Everyone has that weird sanitized snark that was really popular in 2020. It's like it was written by an HR team that has only ever watched media written by Joss Whedon. Glitches hit me a few times and, while not game breaking, were an added annoyance. I hope all the playable aliens get integrated into the mainline games and I would like to see a Chimera Squad sequel with a little more polish. The SWAT team gimmick was cool. Though it'd be nice if they put a bit more care into the dialogue and characters, if they're going to go this route again. At least don't make everyone a snarky wholesome chungus next time.
