Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 14 → 18.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The game spirals out of control too quickly even on Rookie difficulty. Good tactics be damned, a few bad dice rolls and your soldiers drop like flies, you can't afford enough recruits to tackled the ADVENT Program... game over.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Це шедевр і вже канон :)
Played the game (vanilla) for the first time these past two weeks, on Commander difficulty. As someone whose experience in tactical games are Fire Emblem and Divinity Original Sin 2, I really liked XCOM 2. Early game is absolutely brutal, and it is very fun (and stupid) that enemies can one-shot kill your soldiers. --- Some cons I can think of on the top of my head... No language voice overs for other countries. It's all white ethnicities lmao, I would've expected them to at least get someone from Japan, China, and Korea, and even Russia or Ukraine, but alas. Unfortunately something to be fixed with a community-made mod. The game becomes a lot easier the further your progress, and almost starts to be a bit of a snooze fest? Maybe I'm getting better as I play the game, or maybe the gear and abilities are very very powerful? The huge exception to this is the final mission, which ramps up the difficulty a crap ton due to how long and drawn out it is (which is a good thing for gameplay) and it ends up sucking you dry of your limited consumables. No special music for specific missions or story beats. It's pretty lame to come from Fire Emblem with its varying soundtrack and mood, with a usual kick-ass awesome Final Fight/Mission song, and then playing XCOM where.. it just feels like generic western/movie music. I get it, it's more for the atmosphere, but it's just not as memorable y'know? As the vanilla base game, the story felt pretty rushed in a narrative sense. Spoilers:
Like hm okay, your goal is to fight back against the aliens... you find out about their Avatar Project... you get sent to a place to find a "Body" or a prototype of the Avatar... and also you Skulljack a Trooper, then a Codex, then fight off an Avatar.. And after some Shadow Researches,
boom it's the final mission. Just wish it was a bit longer, or had me go around the world a bit more. It felt weird having all these countries you can link up with, and nothing necessitates you going there other than for gameplay/tactical reasons. Just a personal gripe I have with it. --- As for the pros.. it's a very fun game? Seeing the slow and inevitable Project Progress of the enemy ticking down is very fun, as you know it's a game over if it completes. There are also no "unique" soldiers for you to use, they're all custom / random unlike the aforementioned games. This isn't a better or worse thing than having those unique characters, but it's a different flavor of fun i greatly enjoyed due to being attached to my random character whom i slowly customize as a "reward" for doing well and surviving... making it agonizing when they die. Love that feeling. To conclude, great game, buy it! I'm planning on playing the DLC once it goes on sale, and I'm aware that there are a myriad of negative reviews for the "Alien Hunter" DLC, because Rulers are stupidly unfun to play against. But I have high hopes that it'll be very fun!
I would absolutely recommend this game to others. If you're looking for Turn-Based Strategy with a lot of replay value, this is the game. The character building, level generation, and soldier customization are all top notch, and the Add-Ons/DLC make it a whole new game!
very gg
Xcom baby where 95% is truly 55%
The game is too stressful. The battles are fun, but the strategic map is a nightmare of you being forced to bounce from one thing to another without completing anything.
Друга частина яскравіша за першу на голову. Дуже сподобалось. Остання битва трохи забрала нервів)
