Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

I held off on getting X4 for a long time because it’s single player. I like playing games with people, and I wasn’t sure this would keep me interested. Well, I’ll tell you what, this universe doesn’t feel lonely. It’s packed with interesting NPCs, and I’ve gotten way more into it than I expected. I am hooked. Started as a Terran Cadet, and now I have factories, shipyards, and fleets to manage. I build ships for the factions, they blow each other up, and then come back to buy more. Business is good lol. There’s a lot to learn, and some things are frustrating. I’ve spent plenty of time trying to get supplies to my wharf when the stuff is sitting right there at my factories. Fleet AI could use some work too. But watching ships roll out of a shipyard that I built and supplied myself is pretty damn satisfying. I’m always finding something else I want to do. Build another station, fix my logistics, go clear out some Xenon. I get on to do one thing and end up playing for hours. If you’re holding off because it’s single player, like I was, don’t let that put you off. Glad I finally gave it a shot. Now I just need to get my empire making a billion an hour, then I’ll be good. Probably.

Latest in each market: best RU #70, worst CA #92 · 4 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 14.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

First off, the UI is off putting and basic flying can be difficult for no reason. However because it is a sandbox; take a gambit to fail here, you'll find a game ripe of content. I tried this game three different times before finding this is a gem. Sometimes the graphics are trash and demolish a good computer. Lower your graphics and just play. 243 hours is nothing here compared to most. But after restarting a few times I find the building up a save extremely enjoyable. Use the station planner before you make a crappy build. The Hives are just flat out annoying. (No mods) Even before mid game you can feel your empire growing and still lacking in far too many ways which causes you to switch directions. Ability to fast travel here is a must and extremely nice. This game is not a run, its a normal walk with the ability to fast walk progression wise. I can idle the game if I choose and my stations/sectors wont get wrecked. (But is possible) Compared to Elite Dangerous this is a different approach, A lot of station and AI ship management. Almost a Stellaris area. However is a lot more slow pace. Combat can be intense ending in a capital ship getting destroyed in less than a minute. For a new player, getting a destroyer is really nothing to rave about. If I were to tell new players what to do first, Focus on some combat as the ability to claim downed ships is nice cash to start. Finding out how to hire cheap pilots to ferry those ships to dock to sell. Xeon are a great grab and dont cause rep loss. Make sure no other hostile ships to Xeon are near you, they tend to target the ship your trying to claim. (Not sure if the devs intended this. It has killed me.) Overall I do recommend this game, it comes with some hurtles. The tutorials arent needed but you will find yourself revisiting them. I recommend having a stick and throttle. Timelines is a tutorial in my eyes and should be free. Its a nice way to practice skills. Free ships is a toss up here and early game for a new player doesnt make much sense. Find a better way to implement these ships. Cons here. Ability to skip dialogue completely during main quest. (Maybe Im an idiot here.) Clicking or waiting for cut scenes to end is annoying. Older computers such as mine are capped at mid game. It becomes nearly unstable and crashes will 100% happen. The newest benefit with the recent update is decaying probes. Saw an decent increase with some other optimizations. Might also be moving to off sector locations none visual that improved also. Dont give into the the UI is over complicated. You just need to figure it out as if you are walking through the game. I have had a save get lost because of Linux. Oops, However came back twice as fast. Its like working on a car, the first time you do a job it can take twice as long then it pays. The next time knowing what to look for, your on time. The third time your beating the books. No different here.
A proposito, nessuna interazione coi pianeti.
The best game I ever played in my life related to space and sci-fi.
Do you like watching fish tanks? Do you like doing giant spreadsheets? Do you nerd out over Star Wars? Are you extremely autistic and/or German? These are all important questions ask yourself if you’re contemplating spending your time on this game. On one hand, this game will make you fall asleep faster than a cozy bedtime story, and on the other you will become absolutely obsessed over what the sandbox offers in this game. You can easily put hundreds of hours into a single save file, it is like watching the proverbial paint drying upon a wall, expect that paint in question also doubles as an addictive IV drug
This game is so good, we love playing it, but it runs *so badly* on our desktop. Highly recommend it if your PC is up to the task, but we suspect it isn't.
