Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.43/day in the week to Sep 11 → 10.14/day in the week after.

X4 is definitely Eurojank and certainly an open sandbox, that much is clear. Some characters/missions offer a sense of progression in what otherwise is a great big open simulation. And with Star Citizen being such a grand ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ these days its a solid alternative if you just want a functional grand-scale space game. The controls are awkward as ♥♥♥♥ until you get used to them, rebind a few keys, and so on. But I can promise you they... eventually make sense.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bought on sale with all the dlc and I'm really enjoying this, its quite complex under the surface and id suggest having a test world in order to get to grips with the systems. If you can, buy and play timelines first, it took me about 8 hours to do the timelines story, plus it teaches you a bit about the basics in a more practical sense than the tutorials (like hands on vs theory) and the rewards for playing it are worth it. (you need at least a 1 rating in everything to get all the rewards for a open world save, as a heads up) Would recommend as it runs fantastically on my rig bar a little slow down in huge fleet fights, my fist save is in shambles due to my economy and a full xenon invasion but im still loving it, the ships are fun to work towards and the reputation system is great. my only hang up it the station and fleet interface, the ai is annoying to leave on its own for ages and the menus are diabolical to me. Still, get it if your into things like eve and elite dangerous, it well worth it and an amazing time sync.
A little hard to learn and get started but once you do it's such a great game.
