Reviews
basically, everything is random in this game. want to attack? 100% random. defense? random. you have NO control over anything other than mashing buttons and hoping the dice roll in your favor. I do not like games that do that, might as well go play poker or some other shifty gambling game. good basis but no skill, no control, no substance, nothing.
Game was worth getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the butt for
Saw a few youtube video's of this goofy game and decided to pick it up. So glad that I did. The gameplay is stupid fun; easily accessible yet has a ton of depth. Theis game does contain some 'old-school' jank, but it's polished in all the areas that count. That being in the actual wrestling mechanics, and the career mode depth and character customization.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it was perfect, everything down to the last atom.
this is the most npc biased game in the world npc ride your ♥♥♥♥ for no reason even when u have never even said anything to them.
This game scratches so many itches I didn't know I had. A small open world wrestling game where you can control everything or only yourself. It's a little hard though because the AI will just start beating you up backstage and you'll wind up in poor condition for your actual match. BUT, once you're used to it, the game is perfect. The N64/PS1 Syle graphics are a beautiful touch as well, I hate that I didn't discover this game sooner.
i love pretty much every game Matt Dickie has ever made, but there are some things that legitimately are just bad design. For example, i have a sixteen win streak going right now and the boss wants me to lose on purpose and ruin my streak "because it makes the other wrestlers look bad." making me intentionally lose my streak or lose my contract is actually stupid there is no way around that. I put effort into making that streak. Working out my character, eating healthy, training my skill level, getting my populatity up, etc. I learned how MDickie combat works, but apparently it shouldnt matter and the game is gonna punish me for being too good at it, as if the point of the game isnt becoming the most dominant wrestler possible. That is actually stupid even from the angle of an MDickie game. If the game is going to ruin my record and its entirely unavoidable, then whats the point in spending time to get good at it? fun game but oh my god please expect a TON of frustration, this is BY FAR the most frustrating game matt has ever made.

Legitimately one of the best wrestling games of all time. Plays like WWF No Mercy with so much more detail. The customization is elite and modding is easy. Little details like being able to throw people out of the ring and into various positions with almost any move, the wrestling news mechanic in the gm mode/career mode, the relationships, the preferences of the audiences in different regions of the world, having almost every real wrestler that I could think of (obviously name-changed and all that, pretty much the same movesets and looks tho), thsoe are all the reasons why I play this more than any wrestling game (and I've played everything from WWF Royal Rumble to TNA Impact and all the SvR, 2k and WWE games). Graphics aren't everything. If you are a wrestling fan, you will LOVE this game. It's worth every penny.
