플랫아웃 시리즈는 가장 재미있게 즐긴 레이싱 게임 중 하나다. 플랫아웃 1 데모를 시작으로 플랫아웃 2, 그리고 얼티메이트 카니지까지 모두 플레이했다. 그러던 중 이 게임이 플랫아웃 시리즈 개발사에서 만든 작품이라는 것을 알게 됐고, 얼리 액세스 때부터 기대를 가졌다. 하지만 공개된 플레이 영상을 보니 내가 가장 재미있게 즐겼던 플랫아웃 2보다는 플랫아웃 1에 가까운 느낌이 들어 구매를 미뤘다. 그러다 이번 할인 기간에 저렴한 가격으로 구매해서 플레이 해보니 꽤 재미있었다. 플랫아웃 시리즈보다 사실적인 조향 감각을 요구하며, 차량 피해 설정을 사실적으로 변경하면 조금만 방심해도 차량이 크게 파손되어 미완주가 될 수 있기 때문에 더욱 긴장감 있는 플레이를 할 수 있었다. 최근 아버지로부터 차량을 물려받은 뒤 도로가 비어있으면 주체할 수 없는 엑셀 본능이 생기곤 했는데, 현실에서는 안전운전이 우선인 만큼 이 게임으로 어느정도 욕구를 해소했다고 생각한다. 처음 게임을 실행하면 '특급 운전사' 도전과제가 즉시 달성되는 버그가 있다.
[b]Ждал духовного наследника FlatOut 2, а получил серьезный симулятор.[/b] Порадовали только крутая графика, реалистичные настраиваемые разрушения, управление автомобилем и классическое дерби. В остальном игре сильно не хватает ураганного драйва и крутого саундтрека — все слишком серьезно. [b]НО[/b], если не сравнивать с легендарной классикой, то игра на самом деле очень качественная и красивая. В общем Flatout 2 (UC) и Wreckfest оказались совершенно разными играми. [b]Оценка: 7 из 10[/b]

It doesn't work.
Absolutely joyful destruction and madness, bit glitchy and the AI is very rubberbandy, the special targets are an absolute pain to beat, but ♥♥♥♥ me, don't I love this game!
