Wreckfest

Degno successore di Flatout che ne migliora ogni aspetto. La fisica è ben integrata, malgrado il gioco non sia recente. La carriera single player dà veramente un ottimo livello di sfida, per niente scontato in questo genere di giochi. Aspettando che Wreckfest 2 esca dall'early access!

It's a good racing game when purchased at a steep discount (under $5 USD). Lacking significant elements like weather, time of day, view options, etc. But I have high hopes for the sequel.

One of the greatest racing games to date. Has an amazing soundtrack. One of the best to be put in a racing game. ♥♥♥♥ even rivals the best need for speed soundtracks. The soundtrack fits the game perfectly, to the point where some of the songs almost feel like they're talking about the circumstances required to make people strap themselves into metal deathtraps and send it. Most of the songs have that 2000s vibe to them, which is perfect for this style of racing game. Some of the songs are oddly philosophical and/or political, and somehow, this works perfectly. Overall vibe is immaculate. You really feel like you're racing in an alternate universe where American demo derby culture essentially evolved into "♥♥♥♥ it. let's all die in heaps of twisted metal speeding at each other at 100mph. Brought to you by Walmart." I find it hilarious seeing advertisements on the side of the track while I'm two seconds away from being turned into a thin red mist by a short bus coming at me head on. I see this game as a window into a dark and uncanny world where human life is treated as being just as disposable as the junkers you race in this game, to the point where advertisers have no issue with their brand being attached to races and derbies where about a dozen people are mangled beyond all recognition per event, while the other dozen are only left with life changing injuries. The races feel like ancient roman chariot races, but instead of horses, everyone rides in on rust buckets with fewer horsepower than an actual horse. There are tracks here that couldn't exist in real life, because it would be impossible to hold a single race on them without every racer being killed or maimed in the most horrible way possible. Definitely get it, but get it on sale. Huge sales happen often for this game. Can't wait until the sequel is out of early access.

Anyone who doesn't like this game doesn't know how to have fun.... If you are looking for a racing destruction derby game this is for you!! all my time is on a sim wheel increasing the fun! It can be annoying because this is real racing(dirty)... If you started off bumping it seems like the npc drivers will begin to bump back more and turn the race into a crash derby were 8/24 racers will be destroyed before the end! Bumped the wrong racer at the start? In the next corner the cars crash you out matching your energy. THIS IS REAL RACING!! Screw the other sim racers with crybabies wanting you to lose points because you tapped their bumper in a corner... SHAKE AND BAKE LOCK IT IN A PRESS THEM INTO THE WALL!

Long delays if you get wrecked fast, still fun.

It has one redeeming quality. It's awesome. You shouldn't play it. But you should. Don't ask for quality. Wrong universe. This is slap dog Embracer in its prime.
