Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.29/day in the week to Aug 8 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Over the course of early access, more and more customization options will be added to the game. They will not only unlock your creative desires, but also contain new armor and component types that support certain playstyles. And later during Early Access, you can also share your designs with other racers and wreckers!

Launching into early access with the base game modes of Racing, Derby and multiplayer mode. For online racers there will be new skill-based matchmaking system and server queues coming as well!

Another highlight during the Early Access phase will be special challenges, putting you behind the steering wheel of unconventional vehicles that were definitely never supposed to end up on a racetrack! Various bite-sized scenarios will keep you hooked as you battle for the highest scores.

During the Early Access phase, mod support will be added so you can really mess with this game by installing various mods from the Steam Workshop.

Not ready yet. $50 AUD is a lot of money for a game. I’d say wait for a sale or for the full release before purchasing, or just stick with the first game. I played a lot of Wreckfest 1 and enjoyed it a lot. It felt like a complete game. Wreckfest 2, however, still has a long way to go, especially considering it’s been out for over a year now. Update: After a few more hours of online play I was ready to change my review to a thumbs up. But looking back and considering what the average person would think if they were to purchase the game at it's current state. I’d still have to leave it as a thumbs down. Pros: Core mechanics are great: driving, handling, collisions, and damage. There are constant updates and posts from the developers. Paint/decal customization is also nice. Cons: There’s not really any progression system, vehicles and upgrades are all given (hopefully this changes on full release). The only things to do are quick races or play online. Player count is low, so finding servers, especially in Australia, can be difficult unless it’s the weekend or evening. Update: After playing a few more hours, the main gameplay is definitely online. For the past week, it’s been my go-to game for some quick fun. But it depends heavily on the community you play with. Some servers are fun, while others are not so great. Most servers are self-moderated and have their own little communities. A small portion of the community is quite toxic, and that can leave a sour taste in your mouth. A lot of players are adults who aren’t very good at racing games and seem to prefer ramming, corner-bombing, and ruining other people’s fun. Buses are also incredibly annoying. They can be fun when used fairly, but most people use them to drive backwards or troll other players by smashing into them during races. Once again, although the core mechanics are great, there is still a lot of content that needs to be added. The game still has graphical issues, and the foliage shadow bug is seriously epilepsy-inducing. There are also occasional game crashes. But when you find a good server and the game works properly, it feels great. It can be really fun. That being said, I think the average person would still be disappointed by the lack of content, and I can’t blame them.

If you have not played Wreckfest 1 I would recommend to start with that one. Currently Wreckfest 2 feels more like a big demo and less like a "full game". It is in Early Access so it is not strange. However for the asking price and considering how much content there is for Wreckfest 1 already and that there's not that much difference in graphics and some things like crashing feel better/more fun in Wreckfest 1 - I would recommend this only if you have played Wreckfest 1 and are curious to try out the sequel and help form it to something better than Wreckfest 1 by giving feedback. Potential is definitely there but it will probably take quite some time.
I'm a big fan of Wreckfest 1 Banger Racing, & so far #2 is showing every sign of being a very worthy successor, great work, love it! I only have a mid range machine, the game plays beautifully smooth for me & looks fantastic in hi res. I think by now there is enough good content to warrant the price even though it is still early access, but still is only suitable for people willing to play a beta product. If that's not you, best to wait a whiles for it to reach full release, it is not quick progress, but it is good solid momentum you can count on.
The game itself is pretty good and receives new updates frequently. However, the car named Grandstar is completely broken and OP nonsense. It totally ruins the game's balance. Nearly half of the server is using this car just for an easy win. Even when you crash into it, it just keeps going as if nothing happened. They should either remove this car or fix its physics and stats right away, because other players and I are starting to get bored. My review will remain negative until they fix this.
I have tried to love this early access game since I love the first wreckfest. It worked OK on launch day, and I try it every few months to see if its better. but this is a buggy mess and every update just makes it run worse and crash more often.
Please add the Russian language and servers.
I know there are those that have a racing rig... equipped with a wheel, a shifter, and pedals, the whole deal... More often than not, those types like clean racing... it's about the fastest speed, the cleanest cornering, drifting out of every turn... the racetrack perfectionist... Then there are those of us who don't give a f*** about any of that sh**.... this game is for us!
From what little time i had playing WRECK FEST 2 I did enjoy. What I did not enjoy was the 2 crashes in that little amount of time. (Crashes, not wrecks. There was plenty of wrecks) At this point I cannot recommend this game. As long as a game is playable in an early stage i can support it, but it having crashes I can not. My review can change later once they have their shizz together.
Впервые запустил сегодня. И это лучший мой опыт езды в аркаду на руле. Игра приятно выглядит, контента пока не много относительно первой части. Но ездить очень приятно и позитивно. Хочется вернутся с друзьями.
I would like to say this game has potential and there is enjoyment there. However, I have tried it multiple times and just could not figure out what bothers me so much about the gameplay. Finally,... I noticed. It auto counter steers for you. Throws me off so much. I cannot maintain car control because of it. It's a learning curve and it just feels so unnatural. I don't see any way of turning this off. Be nice to have a setting for it. Therefore, I am neutral for this game. Has potential. Also has me frustrated at every turn with my brain fighting my fingers. If there were a way to disable it. I do believe it could be much more enjoyable. P.S. If the devs do read their reviews. Please have a setting to disable it.
