Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Sep 1 → 7.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I ended up getting a refund on this game. Graphics were great and had no skipping or anything, it worked well with my wheel too. The biggest flaw for me was not been able to use VR like you could in the first rendition of this game. The thing that made this worse for me is I used UEVR to port the game to VR (which ran great still) but, because the mirrors don't render ALL the time, it is pointless, you still need to press buttons to use mirrors which renders VR unnecessary. For a driving simulator you would want VR to work!!
CCD 2 is supposed to be a car simulation for training, not just another game. People want to use to learn how to drive! Did you Devs forget about that completely? We want a learning and practice mode! Uncle should be there as instructor, not a "Forest Gump" with bad accent to tell you stories!
Refund requested. Stuttering, bugs, and fundamental design flaws. First off, the dev's claim that this is "a driving simulator designed to help novice drivers master driving" stinks of the same false, deceptive advertisement as Disney's "Baby Einstein" crap. Make no mistake: This is a GAME. I knew it was a game going in. I expected nothing more, but sadly got a whole lot less. But let's start with the positives. The graphics are pretty. The rain effects are nice. Having proper pedestrians walking across the roads adds a lot to the immersion compared to other driving games like Motortown, SnowRunner, or SCS's Truck Simulators. Yet, as much as I knew and accepted that this was not an actual teaching tool, I certainly didn't expect it to be yet another "grandpa's old" game, where you start by inheriting something from a relative that you neither earned nor deserve. Grandpa's old farm, grandpa's old rifle, grandpa's old fishing boat, grandpa's old fill-in-the-stupid blank... In this case, it's your ugly, peppy, super-talkative uncle giving you his old car, but the concept is the same. (Seriously, "grandpa's old" really should be its own game genre by now!) Having a "story" in a game like this really reduces the enjoyment factor. All we needed were proper objectives like in Motortown, but the sandbox mode doesn't allow you to do delivery missions and such, so if you want objectives and progression, you're stuck with Uncle Whatever-his-name-was. But the annoying uncle is just the start of this game's problems. Compared to other driving games, the steering feels awkward on a standard gamepad. Making precision turns was harder here than in games like ETS2. The game seems to assume all players have a proper wheel and pedals set up. Many of us don't. Meanwhile, the gamepad's right stick can be configured to move the camera, but your character doesn't freely turn his head. Instead, the camera near-instantly snaps 45 degrees to the left or 90 degrees to the right. There's no in-between, and you can't turn your head properly to the left to check for on-coming traffic, or look over your shoulder when backing up. You can't even tilt the camera up to check the traffic light above you. There's no way to look around the car's blind spots without switching to 3rd-person view, and even then, the camera movement is strangely limited. What was the dev thinking here?! How do you mess up something as insanely simple as a 1st-person-view free-look camera? Did it not occur to the dev that a player might want to look over their shoulder, or look 45 degrees to the right instead of 90 degrees, or look 90 degrees to the left instead of 45? This might have been okay in a racing game, but not being able to freely turn your head in what the dev claims is a "driving simulator" is beyond incompetent. This alone would have easily warranted my refund request, but sadly, there were performance issues as well. The game frequently stutters with noticeable frame rate drops. The UI is clunky and can freeze up for several seconds at a time. The phone GPS is tiny and generally useless. Why isn't there a proper GPS in the actual car?! What is this, 1984? Yes, I'm well aware that it's Early Access. But many of the problems here are not of the "early access" variety. They are fundamental design flaws at the conceptual level. It was not "by accident" or "a bug" that the uncle exists or that the cockpit view is useless. It is by design. And that says enough about this game and its dev that I shall have nothing more to do with either. (Note that it's also very telling that the dev is replying to nearly every negative review on Steam: it shows that the dev is wasting time doing PR damage control when they could be actually working on improving their game.)
City Car Driving 2.0: Decent concept, good graphics, and decent gameplay, but still has flaws to fix. Got to admit, the overall concept is pretty cool. The quests and missions are okay for some casual, relaxing gameplay, and it's alright if you just want to mess around a bit. As for practicing actual driving, it’s okay-ish—not amazing, but it works well enough for basic practice. Plus, the graphics are genuinely good without being overly flashy. That being said, after trying it out, I've already noticed a few flaws and things that definitely need fixing. Personally, I felt a bit let down in some areas because the previous version still holds up way better. Here are my main suggestions for the devs: 1. VR and Head Tracker Support: This is an absolute must-have for any driving sim. It's crazy that it's missing right now, and they really need to patch this in ASAP. 2. Regional Traffic Law Settings: I searched every nook and cranny of the game, but it looks like the option to customize traffic laws based on different regions—just like in the previous version—is gone. They seriously need to bring this feature back. 3. Steering Wheel FFB: The current Force Feedback is just okay-ish, it gets the job done for basic driving, but honestly, I hope they tweak and improve it further to make the driving physics feel a lot more alive. Personal Overall Verdict: Personally, I think it's a decent, fun game for casual cruising. But honestly Right now, some aspects of the previous version are still much better. I totally understand that the game is still in Early Access, so I really hope to see continuous updates and improvements from the devs.
Avoid, unfortunately. My two big gripes - and they are *big* - are the absolute strict rules, which can be incorrect (everything from being told you failed by 'go straight', you go straight waiting for the next instructions, and you fail; to receiving two penalties, even though you did everything correctly, and you haven't even left the parking lot yet); and the other being that the map is far too small. Both of these were issues in the previous game, and one would think the dev would adjust the rule system to be lax instead of '1 pixel of a tire hits the curb during a tight turn while trying to avoid another turning vehicle from the opposite direction? ABSOLUTE FAILURE'. The trailer and gameplay are kind of deceptive - yes, they showcase the whole city in its current state, but they carefully avoid displaying the map boundaries until it's too late to request a refund. The city currently is about (guesstimation) a mile by a half mile (~2km by ~1km). If you include the one road that goes to the NE edge, sure, maybe maybe *maybe* 3 miles of road from SE edge to NE edge. But that's one road, and a dirt path. This 'city' needs to be at an absolute minimum, 4x it's current size. Comparing it to Midtown Madness 1 (1999, Chicago), it's about the same size. It's got more depth, but by less than you'd think. Midtown Madness 2's (2000) two cities (San Francisco, London) absolutely crush the city in CCD2. Midtown Madness 3 (2003; Washington, DC and Paris) are very detailed environments, even by modern standards, and take several minutes to go from one end to the other with comparable cars vs CCD2, while CCD2 takes about a minutes of aggressive driving to cross the city. The environment needs expansion, badly. I haven't done a proper test but I'm pretty sure CCD1 has slightly bigger maps (note the plural). So you're getting a smaller map, just one map, the same aggravating helicopter-parent micromanaging-boss style rule system, and they want $25 for this? I'm sorry, but *absolutely not*. I want simulation, yes, but I don't want it so strict that pixels are counted to determine if I am worthy of being allowed to progress in the story. And it's a shame - I was, am (to a much lesser extent now), excited for this game. It just needs to lose the 'zero tolerance' rule system (or make it an option) that feels like the divorced principal you bumped into at the mall two decades later, that still has to point out every tiny flaw about your life and personality. Lower the price, at least until a proper release ($10 is what I would call good, $15 not on sale is pushing it, in this state). Expand the environment, by quite a lot. And ease up on the rule enforcement; I shouldn't feel that the Gestapo is in my backseat.
