After the recent price hike the game received in Brazil (And several third world countries), I no longer recommend this. Stay away from this game till they fix this ABUSIVE price. 105 BRL for a 2010 game, what a joke. I can literally get new AAAs for this price.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game doesn't have window mode. Just feels like a console-port.
Worms Reloaded, developed and published by Team17 Digital Ltd, is a polished return to the 2D artillery-strategy formula that made the franchise beloved throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. It arrives as both a celebration of classic Worms gameplay and a modernization of it, offering sharper visuals, better performance, and a generous arsenal that blends nostalgia with new tricks. At its core, it remains a deceptively simple premise: two or more teams of cartoonish worms take turns trying to annihilate one another on fully destructible terrain using an arsenal ranging from conventional explosives to outright absurdities like exploding sheep and holy hand grenades. What makes Worms Reloaded immediately appealing is how effortlessly it revives that blend of silliness and tactical depth, making it instantly accessible while still rewarding skill and strategic foresight. The robust amount of content is one of the game’s biggest strengths. Worms Reloaded features dozens of classic and new weapons, offering enough variety to keep matches unpredictable and deeply satisfying. Utilities such as jetpacks, teleporters, ropes, and girders provide layers of movement and defensive strategy, while offensive tools run the gamut from bazookas affected by wind to cluster bombs, napalm strikes, super shotguns, banana bombs, and more. The destructible landscapes are central to the experience: each explosion reshapes the battlefield, creating new pathways or sinking characters into danger. Combined with shifting wind patterns and environmental hazards, every round becomes a test of improvisation. The game includes a lengthy single-player offering as well—campaign missions, puzzle-style challenges, and survival-oriented scenarios that teach players advanced maneuvers and offer meaningful practice outside multiplayer. Visually, the remaster takes the Worms formula into high-definition without losing its charm. Animations are smoother, explosions have more punch, landscapes are more detailed, and worm customization has been dramatically expanded. Team17 leans heavily into personality—custom voice sets, hats, victory dances, and gravestones help each squad feel unique. The user interface is brighter, clearer, and more modern, making it much easier to navigate weapon schemes, match settings, and custom landscape creation. In many ways, Worms Reloaded feels like the definitive PC interpretation of the 2D Worms style, as it finally brings the series’ iconic look and humor into a sharper, cleaner presentation that holds up remarkably well even years after release. Multiplayer remains the beating heart of the experience, and Worms Reloaded absolutely shines when played with friends. Local four-player matches are a highlight, often devolving into hilarious chaos as carefully planned strategies fall apart due to one mis-angled shot or an unlucky bounce. The game’s pacing, humor, and unpredictability make it a perfect party title—one where laughter is just as important as victory. Online multiplayer exists and works well enough, though it has never matched the popularity or reliability of local play; matchmaking can at times be sparse, and lag occasionally intrudes during more precise maneuvers. Even so, the foundational fun remains intact, and private games with friends tend to run smoothly. As enjoyable as Worms Reloaded is, it does have its imperfections. Longtime fans may notice the absence of certain classic weapons or utilities that were present in other entries. The artificial intelligence can feel inconsistent—some CPU opponents make improbable precision shots, while others fail spectacularly in ways that defy logic. The game’s menus, though improved, still feel somewhat bulky, especially when navigating custom weapon sets or deeper configuration options. And while the campaign offers a lot of content, it doesn’t fully replace the sheer energy of multiplayer matches, making it feel more like a supplement than a core attraction. Despite these limitations, Worms Reloaded stands tall as one of the best modern representations of what makes the Worms series work. It carries forward the spirit of chaotic, turn-based strategy while offering enough polish and content to keep players coming back for match after match. The combination of charm, accessible gameplay, destructible landscapes, and strategic nuance ensures that no two battles ever play out the same way. For players who grew up with the series, it is a warm and faithful return to form; for newcomers, it is an excellent entry point that balances humor, simplicity, and tactical decision-making with impressive finesse. Ultimately, Worms Reloaded succeeds because it never forgets what makes the franchise fun. It keeps the tone light, the weapons wild, and the action unpredictable, packaging it all in a slick modern presentation that honors its roots. Whether you’re in it for competitive strategy, party-game laughter, or simply the joy of watching a well-placed banana bomb upend an entire battlefield, Worms Reloaded remains a standout title in the long-running series and a thoroughly enjoyable experience on Steam. I don't get it. This is the same game they've been releasing for decades, except with worse physics, fewer settings and more bugs. Couldn't even find out how to rename my "New Team". Huge disappointment.
Absolute classic. I've been recently playing through the older Worms games and I guess it's due to the fact not many games have tried to emulate the same gameplay. So the games don't feel that dated. Still super fun, the special weapons always make me laugh and it's an all round good time still.
worth the price. yes, i did get this game as a steam key, however, it is the PS3 worms i remember sooooooo, buy it. now. i dare you not to.
