I played this game decades ago, when I was a teenager, and have revisited it multiple times over my life on different platforms. This game has helped define gaming for me. It is one of those games that is the perfect combination of easy to pick up, hard to master... and it ages very well. Definitely the best one of the entire series.

THE best worms game 🪱🫡 (but I did grow up with this one so I might be biased 😅)

Although I started my Worms adventure with World Party (not that "remastered" one, god no), overall this is the definitive 2D Worms experience for breaking your friendships, whether they are online or not. The variety of weapons is superb, if you know how, you can basically put any image as a map and it will work right away. And by any image, I do mean ANY, you can check the Steam Community of this game. (you have been warned). Plenty of customization for your worms, (don't expect cosmetics, this a 1999 game after all), lots of soundbanks, flag and tombstones to choose from. Skill ceiling in this game is high thanks to the Ninja Rope, an S-tier tool to traverse around. Overall 11/10. Give this one a try.
