About
World of Tanks: HEAT is a free-to-play vehicle combat game built for dynamic tactical team play. A unique roster of Agents with diverse skillsets and a variety of highly advanced tanks are yours to control. Find your perfect Agent-tank combo, build your ride with hi-tech weaponry, and fight it out in a world where technology and innovation have reinvented tank combat.
HEAT drops you into intense 5v5 skirmishes and larger 10v10 clashes where there’s room for both personal skill and team coordination. There are no "win buttons”; the battlefield is equal for everyone, and victory goes to those who communicate, adapt, and outthink the enemy. Fight, win, lose, master new tricks, and come back stronger every new battle.
Choose your Agent, each with unique abilities that define how you fight, hold ground, and time your strikes to maintain momentum. Every tank in HEAT is upgradable. Tune your tank and mix experimental modules to match your playstyle. Every combination feels different on the battlefield, so experiment until you find what clicks.
HEAT is powered by a completely new engine built from the ground up, with full support for the most advanced lighting systems, particle effects, and VFX available. This makes every explosion, impact, and ability feel like you’re witnessing it live.
HEAT runs seamlessly on PC (Wargaming Game Center and Steam), Steam Deck, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and GeForce NOW. All your Agents and tanks are ready for action, no matter what gear you play on. Log in with a single Wargaming account to sync your progression instantly across all your devices.
HEAT is set in an alternate post-WWII timeline, where science has triumphed and the world blooms with technical marvels. But peace is fragile, and behind the facade of harmony lurks an intensifying arms race. Your arsenal will be packed with cutting-edge technologies, all based on real-life scientific and design concepts. This "what if" machinery is heavy, brutal, and built to shred armor. It is a world where engineering beauty is forged for the frontlines.

As someone that really likes realistic games its a really nice break. Instant action with realistic damage modules, some realistic vehicles and some more quirky ones, and progression that doesn't make you feel behind while still having someone to look forwards to.
The game is good, but need more maps, also hungs allot on my i& Lenovo Legion 5Pro with a RTX4070

I’ve been in the beta since day one and It’s genuinely disheartening to see the final state of ProjectCW. The concept had so much potential, but execution of the monetization strategy and progression loop completely crippled it at launch. It feels like they ignored most of our tester feedback and went in their own direction anyway. After only 5 hours of playing the full release, I see no reason to keep going. It’s virtually the exact same game I played during the beta, just with a heavy monetization strategy, a massive grind, and a few extra Agents slapped on top. Releasing with such a small core roster and locking everything behind extended unlocks instantly alienates new players. Map variety isn't any better either, most launch maps are the exact same ones we played endlessly in early testing. Worst of all, game balance completely fell apart post release. The game suffers from an identity crisis, turning into "Overwatch with tanks" where hero abilities eclipse core tactical armor play. Between floaty physics, missing basics like proper chat, and terrible vehicle balance, unlocking non meta tanks feels completely pointless. This feels like history repeating itself after Wargaming’s failed mech shooter, Steel Hunters. Instead of funding failed experiments with aggressive monetization and loot box loops, Wargaming needs to focus on their core games. WoT PC should be evolving into what World of Tanks Modern Armor became under Wargaming Chicago Baltimore team. HEAT had a great concept, but greed and bad balance ruined it
