About
World of Tanks: HEAT is a free-to-play vehicle combat game built for dynamic tactical team play. A unique roster of Agents with diverse skillsets and a variety of highly advanced tanks are yours to control. Find your perfect Agent-tank combo, build your ride with hi-tech weaponry, and fight it out in a world where technology and innovation have reinvented tank combat.
HEAT drops you into intense 5v5 skirmishes and larger 10v10 clashes where there’s room for both personal skill and team coordination. There are no "win buttons”; the battlefield is equal for everyone, and victory goes to those who communicate, adapt, and outthink the enemy. Fight, win, lose, master new tricks, and come back stronger every new battle.
Choose your Agent, each with unique abilities that define how you fight, hold ground, and time your strikes to maintain momentum. Every tank in HEAT is upgradable. Tune your tank and mix experimental modules to match your playstyle. Every combination feels different on the battlefield, so experiment until you find what clicks.
HEAT is powered by a completely new engine built from the ground up, with full support for the most advanced lighting systems, particle effects, and VFX available. This makes every explosion, impact, and ability feel like you’re witnessing it live.
HEAT runs seamlessly on PC (Wargaming Game Center and Steam), Steam Deck, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and GeForce NOW. All your Agents and tanks are ready for action, no matter what gear you play on. Log in with a single Wargaming account to sync your progression instantly across all your devices.
HEAT is set in an alternate post-WWII timeline, where science has triumphed and the world blooms with technical marvels. But peace is fragile, and behind the facade of harmony lurks an intensifying arms race. Your arsenal will be packed with cutting-edge technologies, all based on real-life scientific and design concepts. This "what if" machinery is heavy, brutal, and built to shred armor. It is a world where engineering beauty is forged for the frontlines.

Extremely not recommend. Most of the players are blind AF, usually 1 game is about 3-4 minutes long..... Are you really kidding me? Typical grind for the rest of your life to get one fcking modification so you can actually do soem fcking dmg. Its a joke this game, doesnt recommend to anybody. Oh almost forget. Why to put a marksmen tank in the game, when the maps are so fcking small, you drive 200meter and your half way already to the other end....
What on Earth were Wargaming trying to do here? TL:DR - I DO NOT recommend this game. If you want to know why - read on. It feels like I'm playing a third-person shooter...but with tanks. They designed these lovely large open maps...then force the combat to take place in these stupidly small zones, which are full of obstacles to start with and only get even more congested with the wrecks of enemies and allies. Whats the point of giving tanks abilities like launching missiles or calling in air strikes when your enemies are practically at point blank range? Speaking of gimmicks, this is clearly where WG's main earner World of Tanks is headed, with the Tier XI gimmick tanks being the tip of the iceberg. I predict the crew training system will be reworked to be like the Agent Traits system and future tank tiers will have deployable shields, ATGMs and air strike capabilities among other abilities. Anyway, back to HEAT. Gameplay is mostly pretty boring, thanks to the aforementioned IMMENSELY stupid overall concept. A few of the maps do have larger playable areas and offer better manouevrability & concealment to dodge enemy shells, but mostly its just an exercise in frustration - especially the maps where you have to fight INSIDE various structures. This is in TANKS remember! Even more frustrating are the mines and hedgehogs that can trap you in place, making you a sitting duck. Get blocked by those and you're dead, more often than not. Very limited number of maps and mission types. Very dumb "charge forward and shoot" gameplay. Not a great deal to hold your interest for long. I mentioned this in the discussion forum and got told I was being stupid and that this game was designed to attract kids and young adults. Well, judging from the fact I've never seen more than a couple of thousand players on the server at any given time, it doesn't seem to have succeeded. I responded by saying if WG wanted to attract kids they should have created a Fortnite clone. This game will do well to make it to the end of the year before they close the servers, like WG had to with Steel Hunters.
I enjoy the game but please for the love of god fix the bug when your hosting with a teammate and you ready up before them and it freezes the game forcing a game reset
