could be better but still very fun

Great time waster. Still have mods out there. WMMA 5 is better as a customized sandbox but WMMA 3 has the simplicity at heart of all the other games in the series. You pretty much only don't get Blurcat Forums from WMMA 1 but the game is backed up on Steam which is what you want most in a game like this that can take up years of playing.

Fun game in the style of TEW, this is the first MMA game I've played and while lacking in certain areas it seems to be a good start for both the developers and the players. i will be checking the updated versions to see if the add ons will be worth my money, I hope they are

World of MMA 3 is a game made for hardcore MMA fans who love strategy and numbers more than flashy graphics. There’s no button-mashing here—this is a deep, text-heavy simulator where you manage fighters, train them, set up contracts, and make tactical decisions that affect their careers. Every fighter has unique stats, skills, and fighting styles, making matchups a game of strategy rather than brute force. If you enjoy the behind-the-scenes aspects of MMA, like scouting talent and perfecting training regimens, this game delivers an incredibly detailed experience. However, the lack of visual presentation might turn off casual players—it’s all about menus, stats, and strategy, with fights playing out more like a text-based simulation than an interactive experience. The interface can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, the depth is rewarding. If you’re looking for an immersive MMA management sim that values realism over spectacle, World of MMA 3 is a knockout.

i love it

I can imagine this being a bit of a hit or miss kind of a game because it's by no means perfect. Be that as it may, I really enjoy it. Ryland seems to be good at sims, but to me his magnum opus so far is the comic book hero version with it's larger emphasis to storytelling, dialogue and whatnot. Add the drama to this one as well and we'll have a killer sim in our hands. Personally, I don't care at all that much for the gameplay. The excellent editor is what makes this stand out for me. I just like to unwind, create new fighters, universes and whatnot in order to kill time. Haven't seen an MMA simulator game that did the aforementioned better than this one yet.

Barely recommended, check out WMMA5 on the developer's website instead (also has a demo). This is an older version of the WMMA series and it shows (2015 is only the date it was added to Steam). The main draw is the depth found in the engine that runs the game world. There are multiple companies, thousands of fighters and just a ton of options and information for stat fans and those who love GM sims to enjoy. Also, the play by play mode is great if you are familiar with MMA and know the jargon. With that in mind, the UI is dated, plays in a tiny window, contract negotiations are a headache, needs a lot more filter options for the data and many other quality of life options are missing. This is mostly all fixed in the latest version, but if you get this very cheap or free and can't afford the newest version, then it should provide countless hours of statistical bliss.
