A nice JRPG that has tons of likeable characters, good story and servicable gameplay.
I love this game. It's pretty easy, but there is a lot to do and sometimes you just need something relaxing to play. Collecting pets, weapons, and making numbers go up. The story is decent too. This game is mostly sweet and wholesome but it's juxtaposed with some hard-hitting emotional moments. They added an epilogue and I wish more games had one as good, where I can run around the whole game and talk to everybody.

WitchSpring R is a great lowkey turned based rpg-- I would probably recommend it to people wanting to get back into them. The story is cute, a bit paint-by-number jrpg, but I didn't mind. I needed an easy story to digest. 7/10 I played on hard difficulty. At the start of the game it's frustrating, unforgiving and feels a little unfair. I'm not going to bash it too hard, because once you start utilizing the crafting mechanics and acquire higher level pets and equipment it becomes a cake-walk. Some bosses towards the end of the game have crazy high HP, so just make sure you strategically use Black Joe. There's not really anything too special gameplay wise with the battling system. Honestly, it made me want to whip my 3ds out and play Bravely Default.
