You are bird enthusiasts—researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors—seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves. Each bird extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your habitats. Each habitat focuses on a key aspect of the growth of your preserves.
In Wingspan up to 5 players compete to build up their nature preserves in a limited number of turns. Each beautiful bird that you add to your preserve makes you better at laying eggs, drawing cards, or gathering food. Many of the 170 unique birds have powers that echo real life: your hawks will hunt, your pelicans will fish, and your geese will form a flock.

If you like the real board game you will of course like this game. It's a very well-translated digital version of the real life game. The visuals are gorgeous, the music is lovely, the UI is well done and easy to follow, the AI opponents are pretty good, the multiplayer is smooth and works well. All in all this is a fantastic way to play the game alone/when I don't feel like setting the board game up. Love love love love love. Cannot stress enough how lovely the music is too. I want to play the soundtrack now whenever I play the irl game. Hell yeah.

It's fun.
I got this game on sale a couple of months ago after playing the board game just once, and I've been playing it pretty much every day since. It's so great. I especially love that it doesn't require much mental maths or intense strategy to win. There is some strategy on how to use turns wisely but you can very much enjoy the game without thinking too hard. Every game is different which makes it very replayable, and I haven't got sick of it yet!
