Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.
Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!
Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.
Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!
The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

Jogo esta fechando com erro - crash
Half my time must be spent on the menu searching for games. I legit forgot I was searching for a game just now and was doom scrolling. Cant even find a bot lobby. Its mediocre at best to be honest. Was hoping the game would of turned into something better since I cant get a refund, but the latest update has not been enough to bring back existing, or even new players. They should consider adding this game to Xbox game pass. But then people will just turn off cross-play because apparently the game has a cheater problem with its sub hundred player base on PC. Reinstalled the game following the latest update with new game modes to try and now I cant even find a game even in the original vs AI mode.

This has to be my goty. I can't believe it is so wildly underhyped. I'm nominating this game for better with friends but it is my goty but stands no chance in that category.
Wildgate is good, unfortunately there are few players, you have to wait 6-10 minutes for matches, and this is sad, since such games are rare with gameplay on ships and stylized visuals.

Great with friends but until new modes come out I can see running out of things to do D:
Wildgate is the [b]best multiplayer strategy/shooter romp I've ever played[/b], tragically held back from mainstream success by an undermarketed launch, high price tag ($30 at the time of writing), and because the devs were too kind to their players -- for examples: non-predatory battle passes that never expire, deterministic lootboxes with no gambling elements, and non-invasive cosmetics. Ultimately what makes Wildgate shine is its highly polished core gameplay loop. Sharing a spaceship with your friends feels GREAT. It's SO fun to physically walk the helm of your ship, ready to switch to whichever role is needed in the moment (e.g. ship pilot, probe pilot, gunner, fire extinguisher-wielder...) -- or just open an airlock and jetpack out into space. All of Wildgate's informal roles have low skill ceilings, so they're easy to learn, yet they're deep enough to retain your interest between matches. The gameplay is so delicately balanced it's honestly a miracle the game was even invented. The graphics are also beautiful. Despite being a massive fan of this game though- I would NOT recommend buying in its current state. Instead: WISHLIST, and wait for it to go F2P. I recommend this because the playerbase is dead (as of Nov 2025 the diurnal peaks are ~150 players). With each match containing 20 players (5 ships; 4 players per ship), you will inevitably be matched against the same, ultra-experienced players each time, who will mercilessly beat you. Definitely keep an eye on this game though. It is a diamond in the rough.
