Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.

Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!

Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.

Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!

The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

An amazing game ruined by dev greed. They gave us a beautiful sample of this game and of course worked hard to make an epic game, but to then release the game for $30 dollars was absolutely their biggest mistake of all time that completely killed it. This game should have been free to play but had things like skins and upgrades that you could purchase, because it's a niche title and it's difficult to find players that will commit to it; likely you'd be playing with friends and convincing them to all spend $30 on something you would only play occasionally is just ridiculous. I don't mean to undermine the devs work because the game is epic, but compare it to Arc Raiders for nearly the same price, and there's just so much more replay ability to that game compared to this. My advice to devs, if you want to make your game gain players again we need huge epic game revolutionizing updates and the game needs to be free to play again. You better do that before it dies completely.

Great game. Fun concept and polished gameplay. Played with 3 other friends and the Fleet battle mode was really engaging and different. Sadly, greedy and terrible initial business model will ruin what is otherwise a very unique and fun game. Feel like long term they need a F2P model or a bring one friend along free token with a $10 permanent price tag or this game is super dead. Need to be bought out by playstation or have a ps plus xbox game pass thing to bring up player counts overall.
Couldn't be more disappointed in the game. Despite having the most mobile ship in game, the ships movement is extremely slow and sluggish, making "escape" nearly impossible (which was suppose to be the whole point of the new ship). The game is also extremely 2 dimensional with ship movement, playing more like Minecraft in creative mode than an actual ship in space with no up or down. Combat ultimately is determined by who has the most ice to heal the ship, and who has the best weapons, and not about who can plan the best with their environment or strategy. If you hope to save the game, you need to change the ships movement and take more inspiration from Starfield or Star Wars Squadron.
Прикольная игра, но онлайна очень мало,
Extremely cool concept and the mechanics are very well crafted. That's what drew me in mostly and I gave it a shot after I saw they were adding a PvE and it went on sale for $7.49 (down from $29.99). It's built around PVP and it is a genuinely good game if you can get a party going with a bunch of friends but playing with randos gives you the usual issues with PVP games such as toxicity. This game is now facing a lack of players issue too because the set price is too high in comparison with other games on steam. The PVE unfortunately feels a bit lacking. The enemies you face are kind of boring. I think if the enemies had more advanced Ai it could be fun, like PvP without the toxicity. This game hurts me because it is so cool and creative. Bringing it a friend really increases the the fun by a lot, which really is the core problem of why the 30 dollars pricing hurts so much. I would argue that you would need to drag at least one friend into the game to really boost the fun, and that $60 dollars. If you're in a 3 friend group or more it becomes increasingly difficult to choose this game to play over other options. I recommend giving it a shot during a strong sale just because the art and creativity is so amazing.
Hey, people say it's a dead game because it doesn't have F2P or at least a free trial, so it stays on my wishlist until, oh, a Free Trial! Great! First impression is not being able to launch it because Easy Anti-Cheat isn't installed so I had to go install it manually via CLI. Not so great. Then, matchmaking takes forever. I remember all the reviews saying it's a dead game. Character selection is severely limited, so I go with the little alien axolotl because the squidlike alien baddie is locked behind a battle pass. My team loses the first match but that's okay because I got to ram into enemy ships - I got a collision warning so I figured hey this will work but no it does absolutely zero damage so I can't 9/11 my way to victory. This is like Void Crew but worse. Probably best to just play Void Crew, but I'll give it a few more rounds. It's a mixture of being incredibly slow - the ships move like molasses - and fast-paced FPS boarding actions on enemy ships. It's honestly really just not very good.
Great game with no marketing/players. Shame it is not F2P
Brilliant gameplay, sadly hampered by the decision to go full retail pricing leaving the game kind of abandonned...
