Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.

Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!

Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.

Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!

The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

The Good I can see why people like the idea of this game. The concept of a space extraction shooter with cool ship combat and nice graphics is actually pretty good. When you read what the community says, a lot of people praise the art style, the soundtrack, and how fun it can be if you play with a group of friends. The potential was definitely there. The Bad But the reality is completely different. The game is totally dead right now. I did not like it the first time I tried it, but I decided to give it another shot because it was on sale. Honestly, it just got worse. Finding a match takes forever because there are no players left. To fix this, the game uses bots, but the artificial intelligence is just brain dead and boring to fight. The pvp feels very meh and the pve is just blunt and repetitive. Also, looking at the recent reviews, a lot of players are complaining about the game crashing and disconnecting all the time, so it is super unstable. Conclusion Do not waste your money, even on sale. Wildgate has a cool concept, but it is an empty, broken game with terrible AI. It is a dead game and I really cannot recommend it.

LOVE THE GAME, cant wait for it to be more streamlined and completed

Fun, but suffers from a lack of player base. Should probably go free to play.
I played this game during the free weekend with a friend and have had so much fun. It's been such a long time since I've played a game for 6 hours in one session. I do think that there are some things that could make the game better. I've seen in many of the discussions to make the game a little more like SOT, and I think that could help the game in a really safe way. The Gameplay loop of the main mode (Artefact Brawl) works really well and is good fun, but I feel that a SOT style mode (Large map with the Legion Ships, other players, hunting for loot and getting into ship battles would be really fun). Similarly, story missions would do the game justice. The art is really good, the POI's are well designed and visually stunning, and I can see there being short puzzles to get loot that you'd then need to deliver to a Space ship somewhere on the map for gold to purchase ship cosmetics (Just like SOT). My friend and I had so much fun trying to strategically place the ship and get shots off from a distance to get ships to move away from POI's that we also want to loot. I think the Game has done some things perfectly but it feels like it's just aiming in the wrong direction. More marketing/awareness and listening to the current reviews and discussions as best as can be fit into the current production cycle/pipeline could make this game into something way more popular.
its good
Game was so much fun when it came out and it's sad to see it die. All that really needs to happen is dish out some money for promo through streamers and ads on streaming sites, and make it free to play. I know, scary as a dev. But many games started paid and went f2p and ended up super successful. The amount of customization that could be implemented to supplement the free to play aspect would be fine, I'd def buy a battle pass if the cosmetics and rewards were cool and worth it. The idea of this game is great, and they executed well, but the price point along with zero actual promo killed this game. Should have been f2p from the start.
