Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.

Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!

Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.

Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!

The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

A truly incredible game that scratches both the Sea of Thieves PvPvE itch and mixes it with a fun Sci-fi setting. Imho this game has great unique characters catered to different playstyles, a soundtrack that is actually enjoyable to listen to, interesting guns and equipment that compliment the different playstyles, a fun core gameplay loop varied with several different gamemodes, devs who listen to community ideas and do their best to implement them (2 player/solo ships were widely requested by the community), and an art style that instantly caught my interest. I just wish there were more players on at all hours, so hopefully the devs figure out a better way to resolve it that isnt just me buying 3 copies of the game and gifting it to my friends, but YOU THE READER OF THIS REVIEW can be part of the solution by diving into the Reach and recruiting your friends like I have!
This tutorial is TERRIBLE. Like 30 minutes of hearing the narrator yap only to hop into a game and realize the tutorial missed a bunch of useful stuff. Also really loved the part where you had to drive the ship, very slowly, towards two different objectives. Could it be closer because it's a tutorial? NAH. Game is fun, dead but fun. Tutorial is a 0/10. Legitimately could've been 5 minutes or a paragraph and it would've been just as useful.

Artifact Battles I think is still the most fun mode. The Treasure Hunt mode is fun for something to do casually if you aren't looking to PvP. The different stages start ramping up difficulty and it has a progression path unique to it to upgrade your ship if you like the mode as well. One criticism is it does feel like the current progression system is a bit slow since there are only so many ways to get points for it. For example you kinda have to choose if you wanna focus on the Treasure Hunt starmap or the others that unlock characters and equipment. My view might be skewed though because I'm already level 50 and I didn't get any of the level up points for the levels I got before the update, but it in my case since I already had most the equipment unlocked from the old system so it's not really a big deal. The way the starmaps work is kinda like how Helldivers 2 does where you have to spend so much on the first page before you can move to the 2nd one. Overall, the PvP is really fun. There is a big learning curve for sure, but the Treasure Hunt Mode is good for getting a hang of things first. If you get a good crew together and everyone does their role well you can have some epic encounters out in the Reach. You can use things like the Boosters you find in ways you wouldn't normally think of, or hiding on an asteroid so you can sneak attack an enemy ship passing by, or send the robot that can breath in space with a turbine to go steal things off an enemy ship while they work on a POI. Oh, and one other thing, they NAILED the ship flying. Flying the ship feels so good I'll start a AI match so I can just fly around. The real fun though is getting good as a pilot and winning dogfights. If you're on the fence I feel like it is worth checking out.
Fun game :)
This game is great. Looks great, great concept, excellent gameplay.] It's purely a multiplayer game. The player base is non-existent and has been since like the second month of its release. All Dreamhaven has to do is make it FTP or game will be forever dead and SELLING A "DEAD" MULTIPLAYER GAME FOR ANY UPFRONT AMOUNT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW. Please excuse my caps. Call your local representatives and leave a message along these lines: Hi, my name is <your name> I am from <your district> Game companies should be legally bound to do everything they can to keep a multiplayer game's playerbase at a healthy level if they plan on releasing it for a base cost. Continuing to sell a purely-multiplayer game at any base cost when the playerbase is at a level that makes it impossible to get into a match and matches not meeting the expectations of the multiplayer experience should constitute fraud. The reason for that is simply the product does not operate as advertised, in fact, it practically doesn't operate at all. Money for services unrendered is a core principle of any scam business. If a purely multiplayer game cannot sustain a playable population in purchase-to-play format, the game needs to be made free for a period of time to satisfy the money spent of original purchases, in an attempt to make the game playable for them. Perhaps if you do this I will consider voting for you again. I care not about other sociopolitical issues, only a healthy and well-regulated videogame economy where we can all live in an escapist simulation of our choosing. Freedom can be an illusion for me as long as it isn't broken. Failed multiplayer game projects with a price tag ruins this immersive experience and peoples resulting anger and contempt is a net detractor for the health of the industry and also people might snap and have to start blasting IRL instead of in the simulation.
Esse jogo é bom, é a melhor parte do loop de gameplay de Sea of Thieves em esteroides. Mas simplesmente não funciona na modalidade jogo pago, tem que ser um jogo gratuito pra sobreviver
Not fun.
Good game, boarding needs a nerf Dreamhaven actually cooked with this one. The gunplay is tight and the ship management forces you to actually work together. HOWEVER. The boarding meta is still annoying. You spend 20 minutes having an epic ship battle just for one guy to clamp-jet onto your hull and wipe your team with a shotgun. The Emergence update helped a bit, but they still need to balance the anti-boarding tools. Still recommended, but be ready to defend your ladders
