Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.

Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!

Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.

Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!

The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

Feel like it would have been a decent game to play if there was people playing. The servers are dead. The game is dead.
In this game you pilot a slow and barely maneuverable ship through small sections of an LGBQQ candyland version of space. You can walk through the ship and take control of its turrets and open its hatches. Opening the doors causes no depressurization at all, you don't get sucked into space or killed by impact of objects flying through the hatch openings. This is an important detail because it immediately tells you not to take it too seriously. The objective is to fly the space ship to a bunch of asteroids and space bases and kill some monsters that look like cartoonish hemorrhoids on legs. It's disgusting. They leave behind trails of puss and they throw puss monsters at you. There is nothing scary about them as the visual style of this game is closer to Ratchet & Clank than to any horror game. When you kill them you get upgrades for your ship but it's very limited. You can upgrade turrets, some plugins like shield buffs, that's it. When you have enough upgrades you can attack the other ships in the sector. This could have been fun, but it's ruined by the simplicity of this game's underlying mechanics. You can fly to the other ship and board it through the top hatch, and then you can kill the gunners, but they immediately respawn. It's one of the dumbest things. They just spawn back at the same spot within seconds. After killing and looting some useless items that are the same every game, you're supposed to exit through a warpgate within 30 minutes after the game began. For a $30 game, you can get a few hours out of it before you realize it has absolutely no depth or strategy. It's just too simplistic for that. There are no intricacies to anything at all. Judging by the goofy science cliche's like biodome vertical lettuce farms in space, dorky sounding British robots talking about "the joy of discovery" etc I guess it's meant for 11 year old girls.

I was tenative in starting this game because the top reviews are not the best. I joined the games discord and was looking at what people were suggesting and learning. I wanted to give this game a fair shake before judging it. After about 4-5 games I have to say that I like this game very much. The creators are very active in making the game better and they actively take advice for improvements. The only thing i would say to look out for with this game is the wait times. The lobby process needs significant improvement wait times can be unfortunately long. This issue can be massively mitigated by bringing friends along to play with you though. I would ignore the top bad reviews as they are overstating this games issues which i admit do exist and there are a couple but they are actively being fixed by the devs who are finding ways to make it work, but again said issues are not nearly as bad as they are being made out to be. Give this game a try find some friends or try it out on your own.
Absolutely amazing game.
A fun game to play as PvE, PvP or PvPvE. The action is fun, the classes are easy to comprehend and the art style is pretty classical in its own right. The game combines the PvE FPS alongside ship-to-ship battles, boarding, equipment looting/stealing and whatnot. Crossplay is of course there, so you can easily play this on many different devices. Highly recommended!
Incredibly unique game with a lot of potential.
Got in a game on the free weekend. Took 10 minutes to find one, got put in with 1 player. When that player noticed we were vs teams of 4 they quit within minutes. Interesting but badly monetised. It's got a shop despite asking for 40 up front. It's also got no players so why would I pay 20 on a sale...
I sadly say I can't recommend the game. It was fun in the playtesting then just the way that the game is approached just doesn't work. Characters and ships that are game changing are locked behind a list of passes. Boarding with how it's done currently makes any ship combat pointless. If you played sea of thieves think about the boarding meta there just ten times worse as it's pretty hard to miss boarding a ship here. Then if you are unlucky to die to the boarders you will be spawn camped to death while your ship explodes. Then the loot shooter/extraction game play is hollow at best. Many of the weapons are not that useful on the characters and on the ships. I just wanted to see more from the game. I refunded it as I just can't have faith that it will get better.
Only a few hours in, but I genuinely enjoy this game. It has charm and character, and you can really tell a lot of work was put into how it feels, plays, and looks. The idea of giving you control of an entire ship, exploring various points of interest and extracting loot with the threat of other ships and enemies is such a cool concept. When ship combat happens it gets my blood pumping. You can really feel the stakes as you get more loot Only issue is lobby times, which is caused by a lower player base, but updates are still coming in and the games I've had so far are quite enjoyable. I wish for this game to succeed, and I will personally be on often to shorten those queues and really see this game thrive. Hopefully I can see you do the same!
