It is simple, fun, and has that chaotic co-op feeling that makes it easy to play for a bit and have a good time. ⋆˚꩜｡ The gameplay is about surviving waves of enemies, working together, collecting resources, upgrading, and trying to make it through the fog without everything falling apart. It has that arcade-style feeling where things can get hectic fast, but that is part of the fun. ✧ I liked that it was easy to jump into and understand. It does not feel overly complicated, but there is still enough going on to keep it entertaining. ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Overall, **What the Fog** is a fun, simple, and enjoyable little game. I had a good time with it and would recommend it if you want something quick, chaotic, and fun to play. ✨

Wow. You know how people say Lacroix flavored water tastes like its been in the proximity of fruit but never touched it? That's this game. It's like someone (and I literally mean one person) developed this game with DBD lore fed to them via a game of 500 person telephone. And that one person thought Seeing Red and Steven Universe should be the prime inspiration for the art style of this game. 3 characters total. 1 with the longest reputation of being widely disliked. Way too many difficulties for a game that shows everything it has to offer in about 12 minutes. Is it fun? no. Was it designed with single player in mind even a little bit?Also no. I know how roguelites go, this one is absymal. Try BallXPit if you want to see what a good one looks like. Game is just like everything BHVR shovels out these days; forgotten just in time for the next thing to drop.

It's not bad, it's a good shovelware game, but it's ultimately just a worse Risk of Rain 2 clone. I sooner wish BHVR stuck with Project T for a real PvE co-op experience.

Got the game for free when it first released, fun game but not a lot of replayability fun game for like an hour then feels repetitive. I wouldn't personally buy it
