What Remains of Edith Finch

The game is a masterpiece of visual storytelling and a bittersweet walking simulator. As a young woman, the player explores the slightly surreal Finch family home, which she was forced to leave many years earlier as a girl. Little by little, she explores the house and the rooms of her deceased family members, uncovering personal stories, tragedies, and family secrets. The tragedies of the family members are told in very different, creative, touching, and often interactive ways. She records all her discoveries in her diary for her unborn child. The game is short, deeply moving, and nothing distracts from the story.

What Remains of Edith Finch можно описать как симулятор ходьбы с мини-играми. Звучит скучно, но wroef это тот самый редкий случай, когда нарратив полностью связан с геймплеем. Да мини-игры довольно простенькие, но они передают историю и заставляют чувствовать [i] вовлеченность [/i] в игровой процесс. Сюжет интересный, как и его подача. Игра проходится примерно за 2,5 часа, и мне понравилось в нее играть, а арка про консервный завод это абсолютный пик.

This is literally just a story with a few very small things for you to do. You mostly walk around and open hidden doors. You cannot explore or really do anything besides follow the story. It basically an interactive audiobook, at least the story telling was good.
