One of the best 2D shooters I've played recently) quite interesting mechanics.... at first it seems that the game is quite simple, but it didn't make it easier to hold on for more than 10 minutes, at least for me))) thanks to this, the game seems to tell me "go to the next round and beat your record" definitely recommend)
simple bullet hell game. Could use an endless mode. It is not too shabby.
A really well executed game that will get you hooked fast! Fast paced, fun, lots of variety in the power ups and enemy types, pretty readable despite the amount of sprites and effects on screen. It's really satisfying to be able to get the runs longer and longer and to get to the next boss! The upgrade/unlock meta should give it a nice longevity, I'm looking forward to unlocking new characters and weapons. And, of course, the soundtrack is really awesome. Highly recommended!

A Vampire-survivors like game, kill enemies, gain exp, level ups, what makes Whacking Hell difference from most of the survivors-like is the boss battle, which imo the most enjoyable part of the game, the boss has multiple move set and are quite challenging compare to other survivors-like game. The art style is also really appealing to me compare to other survivors-like game. If you can't afford the price for now, you could wait for the sales period.
It's a survivors game with Darkest Dungeon style graphics and a mechanic of building up the hamlet between runs. What's not to like? Whacking fun.
great on steam deck
Great little survivor game! I find myself having more consecutive runs than I thought I would want to.
Well if you like this kind of game I think you can enjoy this one, the gameplay may not be compared to some other games but it can be enjoyed, and this kind of art style seems good.
Having fun playing it. Nygh heh heh.
