Actually runs kind of good on a Steam Deck on Low settings. Haven't fully tested it yet but everything looks good so far. No score yet but until I see something to complain about giving it a thumbs up. Heavy foilage areas can kill frames my other 2 complaints writing is kind of small and I keep dropping my hatchet not sure why.
not being rude just for last 30 minutes i was enjoying it then the game would just glitch like crazy go to main menu go back in and 5 minutes later do it again....never could find sarahs bag of morphine unfortunately. wont say its a bad game just wont be playing again until updates.

Really enjoying this so far i can see myself sinking a lot more hours into this! I really hope this continues to get updates. I love the Hollowed cultists and their backstory and how that attention to detail is being taken in the world. The Priest and the Marshall seem quite interesting so far, Im excited to figure out more of the lore as i keep playing, this is way deeper than I thought it would be! ive also barely even started on the building because ive just enjoyed the lore and exploration/ combat so much but i can also tell im going to be doing a ton of building to make the perfect settlement as well. There are some rough edges but that is to be expected this early on and its great to see good communication and fast patches so far. I have the occasional UI complaint but i assume the UI will change a ton as time goes on. All in all though I think this game would benefit massively from voice acting at least for quest givers. I completely understand why it is text based right now and if it has to stay that way it wouldnt be a terrible thing, but my main criticism is the extremely frequent use of emoting, or emotional denotation in parentheses. I find them very out of place and unnecessary in this game. Imagine it as if the entire game of Morrowind was filled with this kind of "My father was a farmer, i really miss him (her eyes darken longingly as if to signal a long lost Summer that is no more... etcetera)". Ive had dialogue boxes where the denotation is much longer than the dialogue itself. In the first quest for example, your audience is intelligent enough to understand the character is simultaneously panicked, hiding something, and worried about the infection bite just from looking around at the well placed context that you guys already made, and simply reading the dialogue. And i could easily tell the Marshall is suspicious of something without the "(he smiles at you yet his eyes are filled with a deep cruelty)" type stuff. I started to ignore the parentheses completely and feel like i am missing nothing. I want to use the reading voice in my head to place the emotions and facial expressions. Really loving the game so far thank you guys for your hard work!
I will change this if things improve, but at the moment the game is unplayable, major graphical glitches and screen tearing, you cannot avoid in order to even try to enjoy some of the game. And the game benchmarks all of my settings to epic, I attempted to lower the settings to see if anything improved, and nothing changed issues became worst. So for now i cannot recommend purchasing this game. I will hold on to my copy in hopes Devs keep working to get it function as it looks like a fun game.
a big nope. consider my purchase a donation toward development
Had to step away for a minute, came back and i was dead . It would be nice to have a death marker to find your loot. screen has a glitch every once in a while , have to cut game off and reload. Other than those few things its a good game
I love building and this game has it. Sadly the building sucks, once you place something down you cant pick it back up, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up everything i wanted to do, game had multiple things wrong with it, 5 minutes into playing the video screen went haywire and before that windown was preventing me launching the game cause the developers didnt do something on their end or something. The worst game ive played in the last 12 years since ESO (elder scrolls online).
Very disappointed. Needs A LOT more time and love to "cook".
Ok I am giving this a thumbs up only for the simple fact that I did not want to give it a thumbs down yet, if steam would give us a so so symbol they would have gotten that, as it is still in very early development. I like to concept thus far except zombies. But we will see where it goes. I do hope there will be more to the homesteading concept.
I could not get it to run for me the first couple of times and the third I realized this needs to be optimized. It can't run on my PC and it's fairly new.
