A serviceable game. It feels like it was made in the early 2000s and I was shocked when I found out it's actually a 2022 release. The stealth is difficult for my unpracticed self, but utterly pointless anyway. 90% of the time when I tried stealth I'd inevitably be seen and then just wolf out and shred everything anyway. The combat is rather fun in terms of murderblender-ness, but honestly not treated with the gravitas it'd need to be taken even fractionally seriously. The main character kills five hundred men and destroys experimental mechs and then the guards in the next mission are like "We managed to chase off the intruder before he did anything, though we did lose a few guys to the distraction on the outskirts" The plot is uninspired and trite. Here's your wife, oh no she's deaaaad, here's your daughter, oh no she's kidnappedddddd, go rescue her, oh no they took her somewhere elseeeee... four times in a row. And now you have to kill her because she became a monster, something you couldn't possibly have seen coming after doing it to one of your packmates in the intro and doing the same to your old leader midway through the game. That said the nature spirits look awesome, there's dog butt physics when you turn mid jump, there's a woof button, and even if the combat was basic it was fun. It's probably the best Werewolf The Whatevering video game available, since I've only seen apocalypse in CYOA novel-y looking games and haven't seen forsaken at all, but being the best by default is not great. Don't bother for the full 25 quid price but if it goes on a 90% sale again, I'd suggest taking it.

Honestly this game gains far too much hate. And it is understandable in some cases with how grindy the combat or stealth moments may become. But even so, as someone still very new to the wider World of Darkness and Werewolf the Apocalypse, I feel like this game could serve as a decent jumping point for anyone wanting to explore more in a game that isn't a Visual Novel and wanting to fully experience what it's like to be a rampaging Garou. Either way, really fun game. Wound up staying up till a little past midnight after jumping back into it!
Bought this game looking for something different to play, had a good price on it so i bought it to give it a try. After finishing the game I can tell you the game would have been worth the full retail price. Aside from the great storyline, you can play the game the way you want to, stealth if you prefer that type of game play. However, I choose to wolf-out and destroy everything and everyone in my path. BEST 3 bucks i ever spent on a game that I was able to play through in just under 8 hours.

This is easily one of the worst werewolf games ever made! Not even worth it at full price, on sale or for free. I am not a Werewolf: The Apocalypse fan but I remember that none of them likes this too. It was a Epic Store exclusive and the fact the European Union helped fund this just raise so many more questions. The only thing anyone who worked on this should be proud of is the fact they gave a new werewolf model to dethrone the 2011 Skyrim's in all the porn. That's it. That model is good but everything else is a disgrace! Not even if you curious you should get this. Just go watch those porn with that werewolf in it instead!
