Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

absolute gold! one of the best games of the decade.

I think this game's best feature is its story. The world of weird west is super imaginative and allows you to consider the complicated ways the different groups interact, and the story does a really excellent job of framing that. The whole thing is building up to something at the end which is pretty clear, but they hold back just enough of the specific details that it's still tantalizing to make it to the end and see the full picture. I really liked that the ultimate conclusion of the game was all dialogue, really making use of the connection you'd made with the world and what you thought about it. If you're interested in exploring a strange, magical, interesting version of the wild west then I really think you should consider giving this game a try.
I'm not sure how I came across this game, but I know I tried it months ago and wasn't feeling it. I knew if I tried it again in a better mood, I'd like it. Sure enough, I came back and tried it again and finished it. I had such a great time, and really enjoyed the ending. The story begins with a hooded figure being branded by some strange magic, and then we are taken into the perspective of a woman named Jane Bell. Today is a bad day for her as her farm is being raided by a gang. They shoot her son and kidnap her husband. Jane heads to a spot where she digs out her trusty pistol, as she used to be a bounty hunter. Time to go save her husband, but what's with this weird brand on her neck? Weird West is an Isometric Action RPG. Set in a Wild West theme, you'll be using an array of weapons ranging from pistols, shotguns, and rifles to dynamite, fire bomb cocktails, and magic? Ah, yes, what makes this game even more interesting is the mash-up of magic and dark creatures thrown into the mix. You'll run into werewolves, sirens, zombies, and more as you journey through the many stories of the game. Controls take some getting used to as you use RMB to aim and LMB to attack. Number and letter keys activate spells and special abilities depending on the character you are playing as. Combat is not the only thing you'll be getting mixed up in. Weird West has a bevy of characters and side missions you can tackle. Sometimes, enemies you knock out/kill will drop treasure maps you can find. Or if you're walking through towns, some townsfolk will have a quest for you. You can even check bounty boards to earn some quick cash. Lots of the towns have plenty of things for you to explore. You can hire mercenaries to join your group or even do some crafting to upgrade your guns or armor with all the loot you buy. Oh, and don't forget to buy a horse so you can travel through the world map quicker. One of my favorite features about the game is the "Friend for Life" system. On your travels, depending on how you do quests or free prisoners, your reputation will go up, and some people will even become your "Friend for Life". What this does is that if you find yourself in a losing gunfight or situation, they can randomly spawn in and help you out. It also goes the other way, though. Kill too many people or gang members, and you will gain a Vendetta, in which people can ambush you while you're traveling or during a mission to kill you to get their revenge on you. I love this as it reminded me of the nemesis system in Shadow of War. Another feature that is great is the stories and how they intertwine. You won't be playing as just Jane Bell. Once her story is complete, there are more characters you have to play as to progress the story. What's awesome is that there are certain events and choices you will make that will change how the world is when you switch to the next character of the story. Left a certain person alive during Jane's story? Well, in the next story, that same person has gained more influence, and now more towns will be terrorized and emptied. It all comes together in the end for sure, and I was pleasantly happy about how it all connected. However, there are gripes. I had trouble with the controls, honestly. I could have mapped my keys out better to fix this, but I found using skills and items in battle to be cumbersome. My next issue is that while there are tons of locations, random encounters, and stuff in the game, you soon realize that it's all reused over and over again. Soon you'll see that one town is not much different than the other in most cases, and it ruins the uniqueness of some places and dungeons. Next, your allies' AI is pretty bad. Nothing infuriated me more than getting into a gunfight, and my teammates RUN DIRECTLY INTO ENEMY FIRE instead of taking cover and shooting like me. Late game, this wasn't an issue as I had stronger mercenaries who could tank all the shots and aggro for me. Early game was a headache, though, as I lost many teammates from bad AI. Luckily, you can save at almost anytime you want, so I highly recommend safe scumming. You'll save yourself so much headache and heartache, trust me. Final verdict? I really enjoyed this game. It had a Baulder's Gate meets Red Dead kinda mixture to it. The story was what really pulled me, as I wanted to know what the connection was between the characters. Plus, there were times I saw some pretty weird things in the game randomly, and I loved it. I recommend giving this game a try when it's on sale. I finished in about 25 hours or so, and I could have done a lot more side quest content. Just watch your back out there, and mind the dynamite. Thanks for reading!
A horrid mess of a game, controls offensively on keyboard or controller. Even laying on you die in seconds, you can hire a companion who will also die in seconds and then they are dead forever and you can friendly fire them in the hard to read needlessly cluttered battles. All the abilities you unlock are dreadful or need you to get so close to the enemies they can kill you. All in all a vapid chase for “difficult” that is unpleasant to play.
Genuinely the worst combat/targeting that I have ever experienced :L Just remove melee and add friendly fire perks or something :L
Amazing worldbuilding - the Weird West feels visceral and lived-in, and the creators did their due diligence with indigenous representation. I love the mystery of the Passenger's experiment and the chapter-by-chapter hero journeys. Can't wait to finish and see where this all leads.
