The game doesn't support 4K. There's no UI scaling, the available refresh rates are all over the place, and it defaults to medium graphics settings. I'm not playing on a potato. The audio settings are strange too. At 70% the music is barely audible, while 100% is blasting my ears. The controls don't help either. You can only view them from the main menu, and the tutorial flashes some button prompts for just a few seconds before they're gone. If you forget something, good luck. You'd better have the controls open on a second monitor. The game is clearly designed around multiplayer. Even if you play solo with bots, you can't skip the waiting phase before a mission starts. Once you're in, the game doesn't explain anything. There are no instructions, no objectives, and no map. I had no idea what I was supposed to do or why I was diving deeper in the first place. I eventually stumbled into a cave where my submarine got stuck there. I went outside to investigate, almost died, and couldn't heal. I ordered the bots to help, but apparently they had nothing to heal me with. Most of the gameplay consisted of trying to steer the submarine while hoping the AI would eventually pick up weapons, man the stations, and turn the engines on. Speaking of which, the engine never stops, so if you want to dive straight down, you constantly have to rotate the entire submarine. The bots at least handle aiming and shooting reasonably well. Other than that, the gameplay boils down to diving deeper and shooting things. Maybe this game is much more enjoyable with friends. I wouldn't know. I don't have any. Playing solo, though, I didn't find the exploration interesting enough to make me want to come back.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

struggle with people you know to man a submarine that will eventually get popped by the first real sea monster you run into the people on my crew were able to reach the abyss if you don't have someone in real life willing to play this with you, don't bother buying you don't need to pay 16 bucks to experience public lobbies
needs some more updates and qol changes to be fun in the long term
this game is good how ever they stop the patch and taking care of the game

Possibly the most underwhelming game upon opening, feels like a bad mix of lovers in a dangerous spacetime and barotrauma. no clear goal to the game.
