From the independent studio that brought you Contrast, We Happy Few is an action/adventure game set in a drug-fuelled, retrofuturistic city in an alternative 1960s England. Hide, fight and conform your way out of this delusional, Joy-obsessed world.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I like it
Game was okay tbh. Quest's are just mid and majority of the game was just running around and gathering things. World also seemed pretty limited. It's either downer town or happy town. No real variety. I enjoyed the start but towards the end of Act 1 I was starting to get tired of the game. Then I realized there was an act 2 AND an act 3. It just felt like I restarted the game rather than a different act
Let me start of by saying I absolutely love the world building and style of this game, even back in 2017 when i first saw it being played it grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go, fast forward 2 years and it gets released on Xbox, so i sink 60 bucks into and and just start playing. The Game was super fun but had some glaring issues with performance. Regardless i loved the game and had a blast up until i finished the story for aurther and learned there was another character to play now and that the game wasn't complete. This was a bit of a surprise but also a bit annoying cause i had put almost 20 hours into aurther just to get reset back to zero with a different character, that was a bummer. Regardless i played through with sally although not nearly as committed as i was with arthur until i beat her story. Much to my surprise after the ending cutscene there was now another player to play in that of Ollie, don't get me wrong the characters and their stories are good especially authers but at this point i just wanted to beat the game and be done with it. so after only about an hour or so i fully lost interest in the game when it fully hit me that i have to do everything again with ollie. Ok, so this is generally a great game and when i bought it on steam to replay it i had a blast but then after finishing aurthers story i was reminded on the gripe i had with this game. Despite this i beat the game as sally but much like my original playthrough on Xbox i fully lost interest when having to play Ollie. I think that having 3 different characters that you have to play though to beat the game is just ass, I was fully attached to auther and his story but the other 2 were just kind of meh IMO. If they had just made aurther the main character for the game and the only playable character for the main game that would have been fine. Another thing that they do is randomly generate the map per character, so if you took your time exploring and filling out the map as aurther, you would get smacked in the face when going to sally to learn that all that exploration that you had done is gone and is completely useless. This Hurt me a lot, epically due to how they handle map exploration with a fog of war map that they get explored based on a distance from the player. Personally i think i would have been nice to have a mix of both, so the player can map out the area manually by running around or they could find a map that would automatically unveil the map and to what degree is depended on how they would have made it. But this is not the case so me running around the perimeter of each island to get a foundation laid for the rest of the map is just gone when i beat the current characters campaign. TL:DR - Good Art and Story, but is heavily dampened due to the other characters and their campaigns and the lack of cross character progression, and the random map gen. For the best experience just stop playing the main game after Auther's Story

This. Is. My. Favourite. Game. <3 I got this game on Xbox when it first came out, and I played it in beta, and I got to experience different missions and experiences from how they have it now. I absolutely LOVE how they decided to have it, with the three perspectives, brilliant! I fell in love with this game, I know that sounds silly but it's that good! I love the game play, artwork, the story, and the characters! Literally everything about this game! It's also so unique and different than most games. This game has made me an instant Compulsions fan, and I can't wait to see them come out with more games -yes I already have South of Midnight, and its amazing as well!! But We Happy Few is still and will always be my favourite game of all time!! Thank you so much to the game makers and everyone involved in creating this absolute masterpiece!! <3 <3
if you look past the constant bugs the game has it really isn't a bad game i think when a game is glitchy people cry about it a little to much i think they should just put on their big boy pants and stop being a little panzy
.
Super fun :P Love the vibe of the game :>
