About
One of you starts dead. Each game, one player becomes the ghost — able to see the demon, the dangers, and the way out, but unable to be heard by the living. Ghosts can hear the living, and each other (ghosts can hear other players, but cannot be heard by non-ghosts.)
As the ghost, you can see everything — the thing hunting the others, where it's safe, the way out before sunrise. The catch: you can't be heard by the living, you can't touch anything, and your only voice is some flickering lights and a seance board that your friends half-believe is even you.
The Ouija board is one of the only voices of the dead. The ghost moves the planchette to point, answer yes or no, or slowly spell things out — and the living will attempt to question them and read it under pressure.
A different demon every time. Its rules are hidden and change each session. Only the dead find out what they are, when they strike, and where. The ghosts can see the danger before it hits. They must communicate it with the living and help them banish the demon so they can leave the house before sunrise.
Gather the relics, one trip at a time. The ghosts search the house for what the ritual needs, then attempt to communicate it to the living, who will then be carrying each piece back while the ghost steers them around what they can't see and what will kill them. Only the ghost can see what and where the relics are, and only the ghost can see the dangers.
You're a ghost. Do ghost things. The ghosts can flicker lights, open and close doors, go through the living and they'll feel it, and as a last resort: scream, loudly -- and if you're all silent enough, you may just hear it. The seance board is not the only way to communicate, but is the only stable way to get full words across to the living.
Banish the demon by name. Winning means spelling out its true name — readable only to the dead once all the relics are collected, then the living must spell it back — so you can banish the demon and get everyone out before sunrise. For example, you and your friends will be spelling ULALULA on the board like crazy people to win the game (and pray that you read it right from the ghost player in the first place!).
Dying lets you help. Players the demon takes join the dead, adding another voice to the seance, and more help at finding the relics and warning players of the dangers.
Nine floors down. The house is bigger underneath. Banish the demon to unlock the next floor, each further from sunrise than the last, and each one holding something the floor above it didn't. Can you and your friends reach the bottom of the house and beat floor 9?
2-6 players online co-op.
You spell H-E-L-P. They read HELL and cheer. Someone gets dragged into the dark. To survive the night, the living will have to haul the right relics back to the seance board and spell out the demon's true name to banish it — and the dead are the only ones who can read that name.

First off, I do want to say the game is fun and has potential, but the dev seems to not agree with the critique of some players from reading their "skill issue" announcement. Bugs are important yes, but listening to your community is how you KEEP the people. QOL is more important than adding more content. No one wants to play a game with a million different levels that has poor QOL. (Let alone a dev who doesn't want to listen to the peoples critique) Some things to improve on: 1. Planchette - A little too slow and when moving your mouse too far off the Ouija board itself the planchette just doesn't move. I'm not saying make it "like a keyboard" but improvements still can be made. Also it makes more sense to me for the letter to be highlighted with the opening of the planchette instead of the tip of it. 2. Hunts - The hunts, other than the one fixed (The sentence), feels too fast compared to how fast the planchette can move and ties into the first point. 3. Motion Blur/Camera Shake - It's still headache inducing even after all the options being turned off and lowered. Please just make it stop if both are off. 4. Visual Clutter - There is SO much going on in the screens. From the main menu to the lobby. It's overwhelming and overstimulating for what? Note to the developer: Please swallow your ego. All the critique is because people see potential in the game. The consistent condescending tone to reviews and all is a huge let down. No one wants to support someone like that. So unless everything improves, including your attitude, this will stay a game I WOULD NOT recommend to anyone.

honestly, im pretty opened minded about new games especially early access - so me and 5 friends purchased this game to give it a try. once we could eventually load into a lobby (2 people couldnt load in) we played for about 1 hour. nothing made sense, the mechanics, the monsters, how to use the board etc. but we thought we'd give it another try.... until the dev entered my stream chat. horrible atittude for 40 minutes towards a bunch of people that had JUST paid for his game x 5. harassing me publically asking me to explain myself on why i didnt like this game, but not in a "oh i want to listen to my audience and better it" but simply as someone that cant take critisism. after seeing the latest update "its a skill issue, on purpose" and the way they speak to people that aren't giving it good reviews. normally i'd just leave it, but this time i'll be refunding and not trying again. what a shame because it had potential.
Played this game with friends the other night. We were had a great time. We were really excited to see what more could come from this game in the future. We were all invested enough that we started writing down ideas we had to share with the dev cause we want to keep playing it & watch it grow. One of those friends put up a review & listed those ideas. After that, we discovered the dev's response to previous reviews also offering ideas & quite frankly, it's absurd. While you don't have to listen to anyone who offers any advice on your game, being confrontational & arrogant with those people is beyond infuriating. You can be polite or you can choose to not respond. Simple as that. Now that I have seen these comments, I will no longer support this game. I have no interest in investing in something by someone who treats people as such so openly.
I have a decent amount of hours on this game and for what it is now, it's fun to an extent. I really think for now, only buy the game on sale or at least wait for further development. Definitely just needs to focus on some QOL. I won't recommend it yet but with a group of friends, you can have fun. So it's not a loss if you do get the game. Small note for the developer, the announcement and some of your responses to other posts is very off putting. It may be annoying to see so many negative reviews but sometimes you have to swallow your pride and take what you can from them and move on.
I saw several reviews talking about the various controls/aspects of the game and I disagree with many of them. 1) the Ouija Board controls are perfectly difficult. As a ghost trying to move a physical object it makes total sense. 2) No Tutorial. I find this a little odd, playing the first room gave my group plenty of learning experience and we learned it quickly after a few deaths by communicating in the lobby afterwards. 3) The ghosts/monsters are perfectly fine and my group looks forward to more. 4) Only had one issue with the physics when a player slid off a box they were standing perfectly still on. 5) The Audio. The In-Game chat is perfectly serviceable. Only issue we had was getting the game sound to transfer properly to our Streams. 6) The Character/Model. Hoping the devs eventually implement character customization and unlocks so each game can feel more like mine. My group and I had a great time getting jumpscared and just playing the game and we plan to play it a lot. Also going to be recommending this game to anyone that listens to us.
Had alot of fun with my friends, but after looking at the behavior of the dev and finding out that its vibe codded, we've decided we dont want to support the dev any longer.
not even half baked or even quarter baked. Janky, terrible systems. Gives the last guy alive the run command (4 times) while trying to spell the name on round 8, btw the ghosts cant control the board either so there is literally zero way to let the last guy know he needs to stop spelling and run. Skill issue? Yeah, zero developer skill, this is chatgpt game design right here folks. Get to work before you ship this slop
I am changing my positive review to negative. Generative AI has little to no place in games. Not only does this game use AI, but they are not up front about it. If it was for translation, find a translator. If it was for grammar, find someone to edit your grammar. If it was for font, find someone to make you a font. If you don't have a skill, outsource to someone WITH the skill. AI isn't always bad, but when someone else can do it for cheap, if not free, DON'T USE AI! I know three people off the top of my head that would translate, edit, and create for super cheap. I know that there are many people that would like to do these things for exposure and experience. AI use is my biggest issue with the game, but the dev is super aggressive and responds to most critiques with "Skill issue" or "I don't hear an issue." Well, dev, here's my issue. You use AI and meet most responses with deflecting and ignoring. You compare this game to Dark Souls and it sounds like you try to put yourself on a pedestal that you haven't earned. This game has potential, scrap the AI and outsource to real people. Me and my friends loved it up until we read your responses to reviews and found out you used AI. The gameplay and mechanics are great and challenging, we had fun. Fix your attitude towards your consumers and get rid of the AI. I promise you, you will see much more rise from this game if you can do that.
Very unoptimized. Just the menu screen alone sucks out 98% utilization of my rx 7900 xtx and uses almost 400w of power. Even trying to lower graphics settings it still barely averages 49 fps in game on 5120x1440 resolution. The concept of the game is in itself cool and has potential. But the controls are abit janky, and the board is very buggy. The monster also moves weird and can get stuck in between rooms. I get that it's early access, but right now, it's barely playable.
While I do think this game had potential, it needs some work. A few players had their games crash a bunch, some of the mechanics were janky such as the board not working properly, the monsters were mediocre at best. I was going to stick around and see how it improves, but after the dev's update and comments to other reviews, no thanks. Doesn't seem like they are interested in making improvements because in their mind, they've created the perfect game already. Comparing your game to Dark Souls is absolutely egotistical and absurd. Then blaming any negative comments on "skill issues" instead of taking constructive feedback -and making an entire update post about it- shows you have no room in your brain to actually comprehend that people are trying to help you make the game a success. Maybe making video games is just not for you, as this seems to be a skill issue on your end.
