Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 7.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Was Good
Incredibly repetitive and boring, missing many components that just about every open world game has, such as the ability to purchase guns or vehicles and actually own them. I encountered a game breaking bug where the second operative wouldn't spawn in the safehouse so I had to restart fully. If you've ever wanted to listen to an Indian-British accent or a British chav accent for 30 hours then this is the game for you! The only redeeming part of this game is the assassin segments in the season pass, it's unfortunately the closest thing we have to a modern day Assassin's Creed, the Edward/Jacob/Evie tomb is pretty cool though at least.
Regret playing watch dogs legion... I prefer watch dogs 2 & 1 better (not recommended)
49 Hours Later... London Is Safe. My Sanity Isn't.
When I bought Watch Dogs: Legion, I thought I'd spend a few hours hacking cameras, recruiting people, and saving London. 49 hours later, I know half the city's streets by heart, I hate drones more than alarm clocks, and the word "recruit" gives me PTSD.

The Good
✔️ Recruit Anyone is still one of the coolest ideas Ubisoft has ever had. Building your own team of random people never gets old. One minute you're playing as a former MI5 agent, the next you're saving London as somebody's grandma. ✔️ London looks fantastic. Walking through the city at night with all the lights and futuristic tech creates a great atmosphere. ✔️ The hacking gameplay is fun. Completing missions without firing a single bullet feels satisfying, and there are plenty of gadgets to experiment with.

The Bad
Unfortunately, after enough hours, the game starts recruiting... repetition. Most missions become: Go there. Hack this. Download that. Escape. Repeat. Eventually, it feels like DedSec hacked everything except the mission design. The recruit system is impressive at first, but many characters end up feeling like different skins with slightly different abilities. The concept is amazing, but it doesn't reach its full potential.

Average DedSec Experience
DedSec: "We need the best hacker in London." Me: "What about this 78-year-old grandma?" DedSec: "...Why?" Me: "She has a taser and nothing left to lose." At one point I genuinely expected the game to let me recruit a vending machine.

Final Verdict
Watch Dogs: Legion has fantastic ideas and a beautiful open world, but the repetitive mission structure keeps it from being truly great. Do I regret spending 49 hours in London? No. Would I happily spend another 49? ...Let's not get carried away. 7.5/10 P.S. If, after 49 hours, you start looking at security cameras and wondering if you can recruit random pedestrians... congratulations. You're officially a DedSec member.
I went into Watch Dogs: Legion with an open mind, expecting a natural evolution of the franchise. The "Play as Anyone" Gimmick is a Disaster On paper, playing as anyone sounds revolutionary. In practice, it completely destroys the narrative. There is no actual protagonist, which means there is no character development, no emotional stakes, and no one to root for. DedSec feels like a generic mob of interchangeable NPCs. When a character "dies" on permadeath, I felt nothing—because I just recruited another rando off the street with the exact same voice lines. How am I supposed to care about a rebellion when I don't even care about the person I'm controlling? Repetitive and Boring Gameplay The hacking mechanics haven't evolved since the first game; if anything, they feel more clunky. Every mission boils down to: Fly the cargo drone. Hijack the spider-bot. Sneak past the same guards. Hold 'X' to download data. It is the same loop, over and over, across a beautifully rendered but completely lifeless London. A Glitchy Mess On top of the design flaws, the game is technically broken. I ran into NPCs T-posing, cars spawning in mid-air, and mission triggers failing to load, forcing me to restart multiple times. It is incredibly unpolished for a AAA title. Final Verdict This isn't a Watch Dogs game; it’s a generic "hacker simulator" with a coat of paint. Ubisoft needs to get their act together. Stop chasing gimmicks and start focusing on what made the first two games great: A compelling story with a real protagonist. Avoid this slop. Go play Watch Dogs 1 instead it's a far superior game.
