Reviews
If you like the Warhammer fantasy ( the good old stuff before current aos BS took over) this games capture this perfectly. It offers a ton of variety with classes, weapons, and talents - there are obviously some worse and better ones, but there is more than just some one cookie-cutter. Hordes, specials and big monsters, each one feels perfectly like it should. Quite often you can grab this game with dlc on sale - it's a very good deal. One thing, my very personall opinion: I have to admit, I don't like never maps that were added after game release, too long, too much puzzles.... way to easy to sink a lot of time for nothing.
It is a massive shame that this game seems to have flown under the radar for so many people. It definitely deserves way more attention than it gets, because underneath its relatively quiet reputation lies an absolute masterclass in first-person co-op action. The heart and soul of the entire experience is the melee combat, which feels incredibly heavy, smooth, and brutally satisfying. Every single swing of an axe, block with a shield, and blast from a blunderbuss carries real physical weight. You aren't just clicking on enemy health bars. You are actively cleaving through massive, terrifying hordes of enemies. It provides a constant adrenaline rush that forces you to actually think on your feet, master your spacing, and time your parries and dodges perfectly if you want to survive. The main campaign serves as the perfect, sprawling playground for all this spectacular carnage. It drags your four-player squad through a grimly beautiful, apocalyptic world filled with burning medieval towns, pitch-black claustrophobic mines, and ancient sprawling ruins that look phenomenal. The level design is top-notch, and the game uses a dynamic AI director that loves to drop a massive, terrifying boss monster or an overwhelming swarm of enemies right when your team is already limping and completely out of healing supplies. Pushing through the various difficulty levels adds insane replayability to the story missions. It forces you to actually learn the intricacies of the five heroes and their dozens of different career paths, turning the game from a fun casual button-masher into a high-stakes, tactical dance where everyone has to pull their own weight to make it to the escape portal. Tearing through the distinct enemy factions, from the swarming Skaven rat-men to the brutal Chaos Rotbloods and charging Beastmen never gets old because the game constantly demands genuine teamwork, spatial awareness, and quick reflexes to survive. It is not a completely perfect game, as the developers have a habit of dragging their feet with updates and rolling out some mixed-bag features over the years. While the roguelite Chaos Wastes mode is a phenomenal, highly replayable addition, other experimental features like Winds of Magic or the Versus PVP feel pretty unpolished and half-baked compared to the main game. The weapon crafting and loot progression systems can also feel like a tedious, frustrating grind when you are just trying to optimize your gear for the hardest difficulties. But honestly, none of those flaws can ruin just how spectacular the core gameplay loop remains. If you love gritty, challenging co-op games that you can sink hundreds of hours into with friends, you need to stop sleeping on this one. It is easily worth your time and remains one of the best cooperative survival games on the market.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
