Es macht einfach Spaß. Naja ne deutsche Vertonung wäre toll^^
**** IT TAKES A WHILE TO SLOWLY UNLOCK DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE GAME LIKE STORES, ITEM USES, ETC. *** I have to start by saying that because it's taken me close to 5 hours to start getting the usual aspects of the game unlocked and usable to the player. I see a lot of bad reviews that haven't put the amount of hours in required to see the other aspects unlocked to them so they think the game is boring and repetitive and all you do is collect loot, swap gear, and keep killing. It took a while to even be able to donate loot, and you do that wellll before you get to visit a store and use the money you've been collecting since the start of your character lol, let alone sell your found loot for cash. I think a lot of the bad reviews stem from how slowly the stores (and whatever other "outside of combat" things that exist in the main hub) unlock to the player. I don't see that as an inherently bad thing, they developers chose this pace for whatever reasons they had. Regardless, if someone else decides it's not for them, for me I've been having fun just playing the game as it's been presented. If the combat was boring, and nothing about it was fun, I'd put my review as a thumbs down. But to rate the game based on your impatience is kinda not cool. The combat is fun, and as you'd expect from your typical ARPG. I would put this on the more average/simpler side of an ARPG. Maybe what Halo Wars is to other RTS's in the genre. The graphics are very nice, and I'm personally really into this era of the Warhammer universe, ala Vermintide (my actual #1 favorite game of all time). I'm not even a hardcore Warhammer fan. I know very close to ZERO of the lore lol, and have never once played any of the tabletop version of the game. All that to say, if you're even remotely interested in adding another ARPG to your library, this game seems to always be on a sale, and for very cheap most of the time, I'd recommend you get it. I'm enjoying it, it's on my current rotation of games and have been choosing this over going back to Diablo 3 and 4 for what that's worth. Just go into it knowing that the pacing of unlocking "out of quest"/main hub aspects is on the slower side. What you start off doing isn't the only thing you'll be doing through the entirety of your time playing lol

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 25 → 7.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It starts a bit slow but after a few hours becomes quite fun with a lot of different build variety. If you are interested, I'd recommend giving it a shot!
Game is bloody good! A solid or 7 or 8/10 for this i'd give! Chaosbane is a great arpg, don't compare it with diablo, grim dawn or POE! But this good on its own, nice storyline and quality is life wonderful, it doesn't rush you into the action but at your own pace! GO PLAY!

I typically play turn based or more casual games. This was surprisingly enjoyable and easy to pick up. It's somewhat repetitive, but you advance quickly and the main story is fairly short. At the time, I have 17.7 hours played, and likely won't exceed 20 on this. One character, no significant post story stuff, but honestly that seems the right length for a game like this. I bought the game on sale, and its great in 1 hr increments. Story, dialogue, etc isn't much to write home about, but this is the perfect game to turn the game music off, throw on some metal and bam, demon killing time. I appreciated the variety in the enemy's. Chaos gate really bugged me that the entire story was only about Nurgle, and in this you encounter all 4 chaos cults and they for the most part aren't just reskins. I played as the empire soldier, and man does everyone die easy without focusing on any specific build or anything. I mean at level 30 you basically get an automatic shotgun and its pretty much game over from there. Highly satisfying, but if I were to replay it ever again, I'd play on a higher difficulty than normal. I think you can change mid game, but I never bothered. Pros: Easy to pick up Variety in Enemy's Reminiscent of mindless arcade side scrollers Short campaign - not going to get bored before you finish the main story Re-playable - Feels like something I could play again in 3-5 years with a different character Cons: Maybe too Easy? I never bothered changing the difficulty thought, so that's probably on me. Short Campaign? Might be a con to some, if you play a lot games in this genre. Story is not fantastic, but also not necessary. You could have just told me I was on a mission from Sigmar to lay waste to the great enemy and had no other dialog after that and I'd be fine.
You should consider playing this if you love the setting. The world and lore of Warhammer fantasy is really nice. The game in general is nice, however not great. The atmosphere and feel is there, but the begining is a bit boring and you must press on. The characters are different enough to fit any playstyle, the loot and items in general are ok. Level design up until now, almost 3,5 hours in game, is nothing you haven't seen so far. Storywise nothing special so far, we will see how it goes, maybe the story and level design will become better as the game progresses. Score: 7/10 for now. Update: After playing a bit more (6,5 hours) and after trying some more characters, i must say that the game becomes better the more you play. The hit mechanics are better on the ranged characters. Score upd: 7,5/10
