Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Such a promising Gem of an RTS. Perfect launch, outstanding presentation & artistry, a true passion comes through all the features that are not gameplay. But it suffers from the greatest Sin of all recent big RTS imo: no Game Modes variety: - no annihilation mode - BFME style build-able but even more limited - no terrain corruption payoff for Controlling a part of the map, which can be very satisfying when other parts of gameplay are lacking. Paint the map is always fun. I dropped the game 2 weeks after launch, played the open beta & bought on Day1, I saw the potential and it was glorious. And now I'm coming back to play it, it is a good but lacking RTS. The Dawn of War vibes are strong with this one, and I wish it had gone the more creative route Relic always entertained with build-able defenses. I wish the devs had stuck with it, and developed it into a deeper, free-er style of gameplay like how Relic kept fixing the very rough Company of Heroes 3 post-launch. Sometimes, you just got to stick with it until it works. So unlike Company of Heroes 3, we can't follow the greatest development adventure and say "Yes, it's worth 60€". But it is a very solid game. I am recommending it because: 1. I love RTS, and I want to see more. 2. Realms of Ruin is one of the best RTS of recent years despite gameplay shortcomings... Realms of Ruin 2 or Big Faction Expansion better be a thing, otherwise such a waste of talent! Frontier, one advice: Stop going for dumb down gameplay. Jurassic World Evolution is so shallow/no stakes it's not very fun, bring depth, bring player decision making & randomization, fighting the odds is THE fun.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 11 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This might be a below-average RTS for the competitive fans of the genre, but it really suffices for the average player - and the way the setting is represented is fantastic. The story-line is really good at showcasing why each of the four factions deserves to be your main on the tabletop (besides including a cameo by my favorite Stormhost). Besides that, the roguelite mode ensures endless replayability, while the army painter + diorama modes provide amazing value for tabletop collectors and players. Final score: 8/10, with minus 2 points for a small amount of factions and a lack of competitive-grade RTS responsiveness
It's janky as hell. The story and cinematics are cool, art and settings too. Gameplay is really basic, and takes forever. Once a unit engages with an enemy, you cannot unengage which seems silly to me. Commands given get canceled repeatedly. Unit pathing will often enough run in the complete opposite direction to where you clicked. If you and enemy run at each other to attack, sometimes they run past each other and then turnaround to attack. Half the challenge is getting the ranged units to setup and attack who you want.
So much wasted potential. I actually had fun playing the campaign and the gameplay itself, while pretty lacking and repetitive, was definitely not unsavable. If they put more work into this game, I really believe it could've been great. BUT, only 4 factions is just not enough by far. And then the only DLCs we get is more heroes for the few existing factions instead of more factions? I cannot understand this decision at all. So yeah, don't bother buying this game. They stopped working on it, even though it's still just lacking so much content and the gameplay is not refined enough at all. Really a shame.
wanted to like it was really hopeful they learned after Dawn of war 3 ..... they didnt. boring build system, still using the crap sector rts system from CoH.
It's not a bad game, clearly has a lot of effort put into it, and is visually pretty good. The main problem is that it plays like DoW2 - you got these various resource/point nodes strewn around the map, you run around capturing them, then the enemy runs around capturing yours, and it's just this endless, annoying back and forth. It was fine in DoW2 as it has more ranged and faster units, but here, in a fantasy setting, it just doesn't work. The campaign is also very generic and boring - although I guess this is fine if you're not normally into RTSes. The 'conquest' (or w/e it's called) mode seemed like a promising idea, but there's barely any progression in it, and it's just fighting the same battles in the same annoying gameplay. Shame.
Incredibly disappointed by this game. While the visual of this game are fantastic and quite stunning it does nothing to make up for the lack of quality of life features standard to any RTS game. Units in this game have no auto engage feature, meaning that your units will not move from their position to engage enemy units regardless of circumstance. This includes sustaining ranged damage, witnessing friendly units become engaged in melee, and watching as enemy units walked right by.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin promised a strategic experience set in the rich, immersive world of Age of Sigmar, but it falls short of expectations, especially when it comes to gameplay depth. The most glaring issue is the overly simplistic gameplay. Strategy games should reward careful planning and tactical maneuvers, but Realms of Ruin leans heavily on basic, repetitive mechanics that leave little room for real strategy. Unit variety is limited, and the combat feels unchallenging, with simple commands and straightforward objectives that don’t evolve as the game progresses. This leaves experienced strategy players with little to keep them engaged, and even newcomers to the genre might find the lack of depth disappointing. While the game visually captures the feel of the Age of Sigmar universe, this isn’t enough to make up for the shallow mechanics. Battles lack intensity and feel more like routine skirmishes than epic confrontations. Additionally, the lack of meaningful customization options for units or strategies means each battle can feel almost identical to the last, making it difficult to stay invested in the long term. The storyline has potential, but it fails to elevate the experience when paired with such lackluster gameplay. Instead of a gripping narrative that drives players through the game’s campaign, the plot feels secondary to repetitive missions and uninspired encounters. Overall, Realms of Ruin feels more like a missed opportunity than a worthy addition to the Warhammer universe. For a game set in such a rich world, it fails to deliver the depth and challenge that fans might expect. Unfortunately, it’s hard to recommend this game to anyone looking for a satisfying strategy experience. I’d give it a 4/10.
The fact that units lock on combat until they die is so stupid that I hope the guy who pulled that ♥♥♥♥ not only has been fired but never gets to work on a videogame ever. The game is amazingly crafted but filled with retarded mechanics.Get only with a heavy disscount.
