Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus" is a masterclass in atmosphere and tactical depth. It stands out for its incredible, haunting soundtrack and its deep customization of Tech-Priests, allowing for truly unique playstyles. The game perfectly captures the mysterious lore of the Adeptus Mechanicus, offering a rewarding turn-based experience that feels both challenging and highly immersive for any strategy fan.
Combat and difficulty: Missions marked as “easy” are absurdly overtuned. I met a big robot with 18 HP that dealt 6 damage per shot, and my Tech-Priests died in 1–2 hits. That was on an “easy” mission with only a couple of priests and a handful of servitors that evaporated instantly. The early difficulty curve feels outright unfair rather than challenging. It’s not about making interesting tactical decisions; you’re just underpowered and punished hard, before you’ve had any real chance to build or experiment with your squad. Lore and presentation: The lore was completely off-putting. Walls of pseudo-technical Adeptus Mechanicus text with no meaningful voiceover or dramatic delivery. It didn’t build tension or tell a clear story, it just felt like nonsense filler. Very quickly I stopped reading and just hit escape to get rid of it. For a game that leans so heavily on text, the writing and presentation never gave me a reason to care. Events and glyphs (bad game design): Rooms with 1-of-3 choices (glyphs and events) feel totally random. The game gives you almost no way to understand the consequences of each option, so it boils down to guessing and “learning” hidden outcomes by repetition. That means you either grind the game to memorize invisible tables or rely on external guides. To me, that’s lazy design: core mechanics are opaque and rely on trial-and-error instead of being explained or telegraphed in-game. Overall: The game feels like it expects you to suffer through frustrating, opaque early missions, text spam, and hidden mechanics before it becomes “good”. I refunded it instead. If you value clear, well-communicated systems and fair difficulty more than Warhammer 40K flavor, this is likely not the game for you

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus Apperantly the game is getting review bombed because Games Workshop has forbidden developers from selling their Ip based games in Russia which feels like a crime towards this game whos getting caught in a random gunfire situation , the game is a great strategic turn based experience with an amazing soundtrack to boot and should not be slandered for something it dident do wrong

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me
gloire a l'esprit de la machine et sa capacité a effacer l'historique surtout quand je fais des recherches sur des animaux
Mechanicus is far from a perfect game. It is mind-rottingly slow, doesn't go into some interesting story aspects, and has some very lackluster bossfights (excluding the semi-final and first one). But still, this game is one of the easiest "recommends" I will ever give out. I have never played a turn-based game on pc before, because I always found them boring. This game proved me wrong and showed me just how fun turn-based games can be. The music is incredible, everybody knows that. But I was shocked by how many truly unique features are in this game, and how much it manages to do with very, very little in certain places. Even if you are not a fan of the genre like me. Please do give Warhammer: Mechanicus a try.
Иронично, что в игре Механикус сами механики игры отвратительны. Запрос на возврат средств, никак иначе!
Bought this solely for the soundtrack and accidentally got a game with it. 10/10
