Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8/day in the week to Jul 23 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

TLDR- Besides all the DLC It's a really fun game that is like Civ without all the extra governance and is all out constant war I got this game when it was free during the WH:SKULLS event. It's almost like Civilization made a WH40k game. It is turned base, has resource management, tile building, a research tree, and a ton of fighting. It does not go as far as Civ does with government, trading, alliances, unit upgrades, and age progression. You land on Gladius Prime with a few units and and do your best to survive against nature and the opposing factions, found a home base, build a few buildings inside of it, start pumping out units and get ready for constant war. Each faction plays differently, some are easier to play than others, but everyone is deadly in their own way. You start off with Space Marines(Adeptus Astartes), Imperial Guard(Astra Militarum), Orks(Greenskin Boyz), and Necrons(Soulless Xenos). A lot of content is locked behind DLC and I dont agree with it, but I am more willing to buying some of them on sale since i got the game for free. Adeptus Mechanicus is a good choice if you can learn to use then correctly, the Adeptus Astartes have a DLC specifically for them that has some pretty overpowered units, but there is a way too much locked behind paywalls. I guess that's just how GW works.

Have you ever had a game that you -want- to recommend but simply can't? That's Warhammer 40,000 Gladius. It's Civilization, scrapping all the diplomacy and focusing on the combat, with a 40k skin overtop it; and on its own, it's -fun-, fantastic even; HOWEVER, I don't think I've been able to get the game to run stable through an entire match in months, and there is nothing worse than getting 40 turns in, and having your save essentially go "Nah, I don't really feel like it anymore", with restarting and reloading doing little to actually fix it.
Plays like Civilization V, but it's the Warhammer universe and there's no diplomacy. The problem is I only own the base game. I'm pretty sure I got it as a giveaway on Steam. The base game is barebones, only four playable factions. Everything else is gated behind a mountain of DLCs. As of July 25, 2026, the retail price for the Complete Edition of this game is CAD$226.25. Even the base version of Civilization V had more game content than this game at a much lower price. I suppose you could argue the DLCs let you customize your game to your liking, but if you're new to the Warhammer universe, like me, the daunting price tag will turn you away. It's impossible to recommend this game when it has this kind of pricing.
I can't fully start Gladius or Zephon ? Hopefully a solution or update will come from the responsible publisher of Zephion or Microsoft. Thank you very much. Here are my PC specifications: Besturingssysteem: Windows 11 CPU-merk: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-Core Processor RAM: 94 GB Videokaart: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Primaire VRAM: 31 GB
I guess you can get some worthy hours on this game without paying any dlc, but it quickly gets repetitive; also why I would pay more than 80 bucks on dlcs when I can get cheaper strategy games, with cheaper dlc bundles, wich feel full of worthy hours without paying any dlc. Is hard to say I'd recommend it, I guess it's worthy only if you have friends to play it and if you find a good deal.
