Вот так и должны выглядеть ремастеры. Не изобрели велосипед, не пытались сделать другую игру, а просто дали старой классике вторую молодость. Теперь Императору не нужно благословлять запуск на современном ПК.
With Games Workshop crapping all over their own IP's for the last decade its good to see this classic game is largely left intact. Folks complain about multiplayer and rightly so, but if you are after the original campaign and expansions to revisit a classic or try it out for the first time then you can't go wrong here.
Мрази с релика решили, что игроки с РФ больше не могут играть в сетевой режим, ну а я решил, что их игра получает отрицательный отзыв.
I have been a die hard Dawn of War fan since the very first game.. But this remaster "balancing" of classes has left my favorite race in the dirt.. Necrons. This last patch 2.9.0 is an absolute slap to the face to any necrons player.. The developers instead of listening to real dawn of war gamer feed back are instead catering to the bad and noob players making the weakest race in the game even weaker because they cannot beat necrons.. Necrons against anyone with any actual skill was an extremely difficult race to play.. If you don't win in the first 10 minutes the game is completely lost do to necrons having underwhelming late game elite units and no vehicles... Now that necron warriors are nerfed worse than they were before until they get late game upgrades winning in the first 10 minutes is impossible.. Probably never playing this game again due to these absurd changes . Lost a player putting in several hours a day. Good job team.
хоть игра и хорошая, но в мультиплеер НЕТ СМЫСЛА ИГРАТЬ. В онлайне одни задроты +1000 часов которые вам житья не дадут, ничему не обучат, не дадут поиграть даже 5 минут
They zoomed out of their nostrils! Its all DOW with DLCs with better AI, better unit pathfinding, better balancing and ofc better graphics. If you got anniversary edition you get a sweet 30% off and thats all there is to know as far as I know. And they zoomed out the top down cam view which is huge af.
One of the greatest remasters and RTS games ever made! The game series that introduced me to the Warhammer 40,000 universe and franchise! Thank you for remastering Dawn of War and its expansions and combining them into this neat package!
Incredibly fun old-school RTS game. I highly recommend installing the Unification Mod for this as well. Will add many new high quality races/factions to the game along with new units to the current roster of races. Certainly a must have for 40k stans. FOR THE EMPEROR!
When Dawn of War: Definitive Edition was released, I was under the impression that the developers had no intention of trying to "balance" the game. It was unbalanced. Everyone knew that, and everyone who still loved it understood that. It didn't matter that the Imperial Guard were among the weakest factions--their play rate indicated that they were totally fine the way they were! When this game started getting minor adjustments to some units, it made some sense still. Due to the adjusted pathfinding, units would bunch up much tighter than they used to, and that made certain area damage effects like grenades far more effective than they used to be. But now the developers are busybodies, trying to make work for themselves, so they have taken the task of "fixing" this game. Fixing seems to be homogenizing build orders, and buffing and nerfing units based on the results of a game of darts. I want to be clear that the game's performance is better than the last official release of Soulstorm, and the graphics are touched-up, and I would hate to return to the old pathfinding. But when you buy Dawn of War: Definitive Edition, you are not getting what you were promised.
I bothered their discord about AI usage (possibly before the mandatory steam declaration process was in place) and they made it clear that AI image generators were used for texture resizing (though they emphasised that this was under human supervision) This title, given that it's primarily a remaster (so texture upgrades are a significant selling point) should have an AI disclosure but doesn't seem to.
