Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Feels like a cheap mobile game with slapped on 40k skin that doesn't do much for it.
Jesus. I'm a huge warhammer nerd, and there's a lot I can tolerate before the rope begins to tug. But, my lord. This game I couldn't withstand. It's like a garbage heap of all the things that XCOM could do wrong. I don't even know who had the audacity to greenlight such unbearable UI. I shouldn't feel like I'm being flashbanged by neon street signs browsing the menu. It's hard to believe this game even came out in the 2020s. The combat is fun and obviously XCOM inspired, if I was allowed to experience the game. Not assaulted by cutscenes, tooltips, and monologues about tutorials... for an hour. Which XCOM DOESNT do. Holy cow. One of the worst XCOM inspired games I've played.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 27: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I am not the best at writing reviews, but this is one of those hidden gems that can easily draw you in for a lot of hours. Don't expect the highest budget game in the world but it does well what it sets out to do. Its strong suit is definitely the level of customisation and playing around with the classes and loadouts to achieve maximum cheese. Easy recommend if you like tactical combat, 40k, Grey knights or all of the above.
Just get XCOM. This game is not bad, similar to xcom but the BIG problem is that all descriptions are heavy on lore and completely nonsensical. Its impossible to know what's going on based on descriptions of tallents, buffs, debuffs, etc until it happens several times. This forces you to start over several times just to learn by trial and error on what should just be written in a tool tip. I still have no idea what some of the ship upgrades and strategems do because I have not used them yet. If you have played all XCOM games and have a lot of patience, sure, this isn't too bad.
Its not an easy game but it lots of fun and well HAMMER SMASH HERETIC
maybe i'm just getting old. but i so dont have the patience to deal with the level of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game throws at you. it was marketed to me as "xcom but warhammer" by my friends. it sure is "xcom but warhammer". all the worst parts of both UI is ugly as ♥♥♥♥. game tells you nothing about anything. did you know each character starts with a trait? i sure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ didnt. theres NOTHING on the ugly character ui to tell you what it is or does. just like Rogue Trader. what is it about 40k games having cluttered, ugly, and useless UI??? learn something from fantasy games will you? did you know there are classes? i sure didnt! cuz the game makes zero attempts to inform you of that. did you know that even among the same classes, each character rolls different skills? nope, that wasnt explained either! all this UI and it tells you NOTHING. "standard" difficulty makes the Long War of the Chosen on Ironman look like childsplay. and i hate that. FIFTY DAYS FOR RECOVERY OF A "LIGHT" WOUND?! ARE YOU MADE OF PAPER??!?!?!?!? missions take too long. which doesnt help that you WILL be save scumming over and over. a shot always hits unless you/they are in FULL cover. so the "smart" ai does one thing and one thing only. single out a target, and flank with ALL units until that target is dead and then repeats. oh. and everyone hates you. there are no correct answers. every dialog has a negative effect. you will never please anyone, ever. be the good guy, suffer research speed as you piss off the ♥♥♥♥♥. be the smart guy, and piss off lord ♥♥♥♥, limiting your gear/unit upgrades. try to play neutral and you lose all your resources. everyone hates you. "in the grimdark future, there is only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" you made me hate nurglings you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥. ♥♥♥♥ you forever in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
1st review on the platform because IMO it deserves more praise. Obviously it is long after the publishing date, but I have not encountered any technical difficulties at all. The setting is done wonderfully, the aesthetics, sound of weapons and ambience are fantastic. Characters are interesting and adequate, voice acting appropriate. The game took a lot of inspiration from XCOM, but used the absurd power fantasy of 40k and designed systems that do them justice: One moment all seems lost and then you combo some desperate moves together and all the Silver Knights are saved once again - it is so great and fun when it comes together. Despite lots of info in the game it is a lot to discover and ALSO: this type of game suffers from being the hardest at the beginning, when it is most unforgiving eventhough players have not mastered the essentials and when you make it through the mincer it gets actually easier. I will start of things quiet differently in another playthrough. Bought all together, but I assume the DLCs make it even better and enhance the game feel through more diversity and also another wonderully bonkers aspect of 40k. I have hundreds of hours in XCOM 1&2, but this might be my new go to - it is dense, challenging and fun. Never have I ever seen unite design so smartly inspired by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy setting: Highly recommend.
