Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game set in the grimdark universe of the 41st Millennium. Pick your force, develop your army, field mighty heroes and fight for victory using superior strategy, awesome abilities, and devastating weaponry.
Experience an epic twenty mission single-player campaign that explores the aftermath of the Devasta-tion of Baal. Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies purge the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus, and preserve the honour of the noble Blood Angels.
Fight across the surface of Baal on maps of your choosing in the Skirmish mode. Pick the faction you'll lead as well as the one you'll face. Completely customize your army list by selecting your units, heroes and their loadouts. It is available with three different types of Objective: Exterminatus, Conqueror and Strategic Command.
Planetary Supremacy is a conquest-style skirmish campaign, introduced in a free update as part of our ever expanding plan for Battlesector, in which you, the player, decide the outcome.
Take command of your favourite faction and conquer the planet in a series of procedurally generated skirmish battles. To achieve victory, capture more tiles, acquire strategic resources and expand your army. Then, bring destruction to your enemies in Skirmish battles.
Daemonic Incursion is a single-player mode that is available to all Battlesector players as part of a free update that was launched alongside the Sisters of Battle Faction Pack. In Daemonic Incursion, waves of Khornate daemons enter realspace to spill blood, collect skulls and overrun your forces. This is a last-stand mode, in which your objective is simple: SURVIVE!
Command iconic units like the Sanguinary Priest, the Librarian Dreadnought, and the Hive Tyrant to annihilate your foes. Use over 60 abilities and 50 weapons to orchestrate your opponent’s bloody de-mise.
Each faction has a unique Momentum system that can result in a Surged unit. Units that Surge are able to string together superhuman chains of actions, or use the opportunity to further upgrade their abili-ties.
Use Command Points to call in faction-specific air support abilities. The Blood Angels Stormraven can obliterate xenos with a missile barrage, or deep strike a unit of veteran Assault Marines behind enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Tyranid Harpy can devastate the enemy defenses with its Sonic Screech, or scat-ter the battlefield with its deadly Spore Mines.
With live and asynchronous multiplayer, and hotseat modes available, there’s no excuse not to take your friends to war.

I'll admit it's a pretty solid game. Combat seems decent enough, and the story tries not to step on established lore. So why can I not give it a thumbs up? DLC practices. I am sorry to the developers, they've done a good job, but the cost of over £10 per faction is just not good enough. Without any of the DLC you only get Tyranids and Astartes (Blood Angels) to play with. For this reason, I can not give it a positive review.
if you like the table top game then you will love this version... they just need more factions added to make it perfect...they should a\ADD A PAINT YOUR ARMY OPTION ..BUT TH3Y WONT THYE WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR IT...TYPICAL 40K GREED. SADLY..

I wanted this game to be like the tabletop. Unfortunately, it differs quite a lot in its mechanics and execution here. There is also the high cost of admission (DLC's etc). The AI also is very much on the weaker side. 5/10.
For Warhammer fans this is a solid game. It's similar to the tabletop but it's not going to replace it anytime soon. For tactical strategy fans, this game is janky as hell. I know modern indie games are rushed out the gate to make deadlines but this game came out in 2021 and still has the weirdest bugs that have never been addressed while the DLC keeps piling on. Imagine paying the original 40 bucks they were asking (luckily I got this for cheap in a bundle) I don't have any DLC but it seems it's just 15 bucks a pop for a new faction but no campaign. Wtf? Fix your game, it's been 5 years already. It's a real shame because presentation-wise it's really nice but when you get into the thick of things stuff like the pace of battle, the camera, seeing where attacks are coming from, you're constantly fighting with the camera to see what the hell is going on. Then when you make a mistake, sorry homie, no take backs. Wanna restart a mission, sorry buddy, use the autosaves. There's so many QOL things would plenty of other tactics games have paved the road for already. This kind of stuff is just lazy. Anyway, 7 out of 10 for 40K fans. 4 out of 10 for everybody else. BTW: As soon as I beat the game, it crashed to the desktop! I had to go to Youtube to see the ending!
It's an ok game, too focused on MP i'm a single player campaign man so idc about MP
good alternative to full blown table top at least for me, i grew up in the hood and its hard to go to stores or find friends to play irl table top with so this is awesome but it is boring playing alone
One of the main issues with Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is that each faction has access to only a small fraction (roughly 1/10) of the units that exist in the tabletop game. On top of that, the DLCs are often sold at a significant price while still feeling incomplete, which creates a disappointing and, at times, predatory business model. If the goal is truly to create a fun, long-lasting, and engaging system, the developers should listen more closely to player feedback. A concrete and reasonable approach would be to regularly implement new units that already exist in the physical game—for example, at least one new unit per faction every year. This would greatly increase gameplay variety, make factions feel more complete, and improve the overall perception of the product. Personally, I have played Battlesector very little because, in its current state, it feels incomplete and not very rewarding in the long term.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector – The Closest You’ll Get to Tabletop Without Knocking Over Your Minis As someone who actually plays Warhammer 40K on the tabletop (and paints far too many Orks for any sane human), Battlesector has been an absolute delight. It captures the feel of 40K in a way few digital games manage — the pacing, the tactical choices, the brutal exchanges of fire… all without having to worry about dice scattering off the table or your Squighog Boyz taking a nosedive onto the floor. The turn-based combat is tight and satisfying, every unit feels distinct, and the battlefield momentum system adds a layer of tactical depth that really scratches that tabletop itch. It’s accessible enough for newcomers but deep enough to keep long-time players like me engaged for hours. And now with Black Legion on the horizon? Oh boy. I’m absolutely ready. If the devs keep expanding the roster, this game could become the definitive digital 40K tactics platform. Give me more factions, more toys, and — if Gork (or possibly Mork) wills it — maybe even some glorious green Orky madness in the future. Until then, Battlesector is already a great pick for anyone who loves Warhammer 40K, tactical combat, or simply wants a game that feels like pushing minis around a table without the cleanup afterward. Verdict: Waaagh-worth it. Highly recommended.
Since the last DLC absolutely broken AI in crusade mode. AI can literally charge through cover (which shouldn't be possible), can shoot through massive stone cliffs (which shouldn't be possible), can ignore armor on units (which shouldn't be possible) and can make much more of this nonsense. And many, many crashes. This game was promising in the beginning but since the other studio took over it's just another DLC sale policy crap without balancing or bug fixing. The first two factions are unplayable because of power creep and the new released ones are OP on purpose to sell them better. Sry, but this isn't fun or engaging, it's lazy work.
近年来算是不错的战锤类回合制游戏了,但是大量DLC警告,喜欢战锤的朋友可以观望下,啥时候打折再购入(来自全价购买DLC的笨蛋告诫)
