This is an AI ripoff of my game Golden Krone Hotel.

Same levels
Same monsters and bosses
Same spells, items, and potions
Same classes
Same mechanics
Much of the text has been directly ripped verbatim
And at least one sprite
The AI disclosure says "every effort is taken to make the game original". lol It's done in a lazy way of course. Clearly, the dev asked AI to reimplement the game from scratch in Godot, but to reskin and rename everything. The renaming is inconsistent. My level The Sewers is renamed to The Drains in this game, but its store page still references the Sewers. Screenshots show Hunger being renamed to Vigil, but it's still Hunger in game. The store page is AI slop. It's funny and also sad to see personal stuff I wrote years ago copied verbatim like the "Curry Noodle Soup" potion, a reference to my favorite asian fusion place in which I tried all 30+ menu items including a flavorless "tofu sandwich". The reskin tries to skirt around my game's vampire theme with some muddy "wardens" and "turned" gobbledygook. It only make sense in the vampire context. The graphics style is all over the place and there are many visual glitches. Chairs produce blood when destroyed. Menus are visually broken. Sunlight is not visible but still there mechanically. Some items can be picked up repeatedly. Contrast of walls against floor tiles is sometimes nonexistent. The unidentified potions system is missing even though the store mentions it. The credits make sure to thank Kenney and the Godot team. Golden Krone Hotel is never mentioned. I'm not against AI game dev. AI makes it so easy to go from idea to implementation... so why do you need to skip the original idea part and go straight to stealing? I can't understand it.

Yeah so this is just a stolen game. The original game is called Golden Krone Hotel and is very good. This is just that game, stolen illegally, and then uses AI slop to change some of the art assets. Hopefully it gets taken down soon, but until then, don't give this thief your money. To the dev, how pathetic are you? Make your own game. Stop stealing the hard work of other people. I am so sick of this AI slop era of games.
Fantastic! This must be the same developer that made Golden Krone Hotel.
