From what I can tell they did update the game multiple times after release and were active on the forums for some time. Some missing content is noticeable and non game breaking bugs find their way into the experience. I won the main story mode in 16 hours, exploring the majority of the map and getting 42 of the 53 achievements. I haven't played survival mode yet, so I can't comment on that part of the game. The overall experience was mostly good. With the atmosphere and exploration being the highlight of my time spent in Vortex. Some bugs, glitches and clunky controls do not hinder this much. However, it does make playing the game frustrating at times. Its definitely a means to an end. The crafting and camp building is very enjoyable and I have to emphasise the fact that the developers of Vortex managed to make a fun survival game WITHOUT the grind. I never felt like I didn't want to collect a resource to build what I needed and wanted. In 16 hours, while exploring the island, I managed to build up a respectable camp. Vortex really shines in its ability to allow the player to have "fun". Which is a funny thing because that's what you expect in a video game, right? However, a lot of survival games tend to be about the grind. They limit the players progression at every turn. Even some single player survival games do this. So with all this praise, why is it only a 7 of 10? Well, there seems to be some unfinished content and bugs that get in the way. As well as the game being made on a smaller budget some animations and graphics feel out of place. The audio could also use some more variety and A LOT more balancing. It's amazing that a team as small as Storm Cube Games pulled this off. It's easy to notice the game didn't get as much support as the community would have wanted. But all things considered, the developers did a great job. [b]Some bugs I came across[/b] -Arm holding lighter disappears -A missing/incorrect texture on a plant -Can't delete some traps you place down -My PC cut off (thanks load shedding) and when restarting the games all the controls were unmapped. Had to reset before playing again. もったいない！ 核なるシステムは揃っており、あとは細かいところを煮詰めてゆけば かなりの大作になるであろう内容と思います。 基本的にはThe Forestの宇宙版なんですが モーションやUIなどがシームレスじゃなかったり システムがしっかりしているが故に逆にもったいなさを 感じました。 もったいないオブザイヤー１位。

Игра неожиданно меня затянула. Если вкратце - это Forest с инопланетянами. Если подробнее: - большой открытый мир - пугающая атмосфера даже днем, и реалистичные звуки появления монстров - ночью чувствуешь себя некомфортно, даже при отсутствии страшилищ поблизости, и нельзя спать ночью - чудовища страшные и хорошо нарисованы - отличающийся от большинства выживалок крафт с подставками почти под все, что нужно, но без сундуков под это - различные постройки для строительства базы с возможным ее ограждением - спорная система ловушек, включающая как очень нужные, так и бесполезные - универсальное для всей игры копье и неудобный во всех отношениях лук (держа его в руках нельзя параллельно освещать путь) - увлекательное исследование острова с автоматической пометкой мест с ресурсами и мест интереса - огромный хозяин острова, которому все равно за кем охотится - за монстрами или за людьми - ненавязчивая сюжетная линия с необычной концовкой - режим выживания - фактически кооп с бесполезным мобом, из-за которого придется искать еду питье для двоих, строить возле него базу и каждую ночь защищать ее от приходящих монстров и именно в этом режиме познается вся оборонная система с ограждениями и ловушками - нарастающие волны чудовищ в режиме выживания, но постепенные и не такие огромные, как, например, в Night of the Dead. Игру рекомендую всем любителям атмосферных выживалок, пытливым исследователям, крафтерам и создателям собственных баз.
