Deeper than FTL+40K....

Excellent game, better than FTL for me and extremely fun. Crew skills and invocations are very fun to use. Lots of bosses, minibosses, crew types, events, ships, weapons, modules, possible strategies and builds... The ambience is great too.

Unless you dislike WH40K-style aesthetics, it’s a near-complete improvement over FTL. It’s packed with ships, subtypes, commanders, crew, enemies, and events. If I could change one thing, it would be the ship unlock requirements. Currently, you have to either spend meta-currency earned through gameplay or beat the game with the previous ship in a fixed unlock order. The issue is that some commanders and ship subtypes are only available via currency, and a single victory doesn't usually grant enough to unlock one. I think a better approach would be to let players choose a new ship after a win with one they haven't finished a run with yet, rather than forcing an arbitrary unlock order. Anyway breddygud/10

Great game! I completely recommend it! Wish there was a workshop, but other than that, it is an amazing game!

its FTL but better and warhammer themed.

I've never played a rouge like, didn't think they would be my cup of tea. At the very least this one is. There's gotta be hundreds of ways to build up and customize the ship for whatever build you could want. Different guns, missiles, space magic, captains anything and everything you might want.

Fantastic music, aesthetics, and gameplay.
