This is such an underrated gem that anyone who enjoys shooters and "roguelikes" should try

Really fun game, short. Ending was funny, but I do wish there were multiple endings for the different difficulty settings. In order to get all the trophies, ya gotta beat the game at least 4 times. No thanks. But what I loved most about the games was the animation style. Totes reminded me of Dead Leaves. Felt like I was playing the anime, ha!
I love the art style and the overall feel of this game but it runs very glitchy on some of my computers and then when I do run it on a machine that plays it well ill end up out of ammo stranded somewhere and it just kind of gets boring and futile feeling. Overall I really wish I had more fun playing this game and that it actually worked right so I COULD play it more

I tried this back when it came out, and I wasn't really in the right frame of mind... for this game. Possibly other things too... But, right now, it's a blast!
System Shock Rouge like. Pretty good.
Because of it's pedigree, I wanted to like this game. I tried to like game. But ultimately, it's a bunch of almost-good ideas struggling to balance itself. Normal mode is too easy, you can tank/kill anything that opposes you and trip over loot every few steps. Hard mode and up requires luck in amounts that make me question whether I'm playing the game correctly (I googled it. I'm not). Once you've beaten the game, you can turn the difficulty up, but that's about it. If you really really like rogue games, buy it on sale and beat it once or twice on Normal, maybe Hard if you're feeling frisky, and move on. It's not good for much more than that.
Didn't work out for me even though I thought it would. I mean, it's not a bad game, but it didn't click. I'd get a refund if I could.
