Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

Looks cute but the gameplay isn't great.
TL;DR: I love this game, 8.5/10. The art itself is vibrant, colorful, and very eye-catching. The individual units are unique in terms of both gameplay and visual design that gives every single one a really distinct personality that it's hard not to fall in love with any of them. Fantastic auto battler with lots of variety and depth to every run that'll leave you foaming at the mouth with excitement. Wording gets really confusing in several cases that holds it back very slightly from a better rating. I bought the first game - Vivid Knight - on my phone and played a lot of it back when I was looking for something adjacent to TFT but with an emphasis on PvE. I stumbled on that game, and absolutely fell in love! Come several years later, I spotted they were making Vivid World and I was immediately thrown back into fond memories of playing VK so I had to pick this up and try it out. Vivid World is a roguelike auto battler where your characters will do their actions themselves each round, casting spells when they have enough TP and otherwise doing normal attacks or other effects at the end of their respective turns. Between each round, you can use gems which are essentially weapons/items for bonus damage, buffs, or healing and allow the player to have some additional impact on the outcome of combat. The gameplay generally consists of the player selecting a dungeon to explore, and moving from room to room to fight enemies, find gold, unit chests (where the player can select a character to add to their roster), and materials. Gold is used at shops to expand party size, purchase a random assortment of units, or refresh that assortment to get a better selection. Unit chests will allow the player to freely select from 3 units. Every individual unit has a color/crest combination that provides specific gameplay effects - the Red color will apply a Might (physical damage is increased) to your entire party, and the Bushido crest will apply Stratagem (skills will activate twice) to some/all of your units. As you get more units of those colors/crests, the player will reach certain thresholds that provide stronger versions of those particular effects - at 2, Red will provide a small version of Might, at 4 it'll be a bit stronger, and at 6 it'll be its strongest. Where it becomes more complex is purchasing 3 units will allow the player to silver star a unit and give you that crest/color permanently for your roster. You wouldn't have to actually run 6 characters with the Red color, you could run none and have your party consist of a random assortment of different characters in other color/crest combinations. The important part is understanding how certain colors and crests will synergize with each other! Materials are put towards randomly generating a gem for the player to assign to their action bar to use out of combat or between rounds. Gems are generally damaging effects, buffs/debuffs, or healing. All gems can be fused as well, whether that's to create a new gem entirely or increase the effectiveness of your gems. Say the player used materials and was randomly given two Dragon Arrow (AoE physical damage) gems, they can fuse these into Alkahest (AoE physical damage that applies a Bleed debuff), which can further add to the games complexity as some of these gems can easily buff your characters to sky high and let you deal absolutely bonkers damage numbers. There are stickers, orbs, perfumes, and dungeon upgrades that contribute even further to run complexity and can ultimately make every single one different from the next - I'm not going that deep into everything though. The art style is adorably addictive. Characters and units all so bouncy and lively, drawing your attention with ease to the beautifully distinct designs of every individual one. Our main character Lemuria herself is precious with a look that's both emo and cutesy. The reapers you'll meet are bags of nothingness with skull faces, but they all have unique personalities that differentiate them from one to the next. The units are especially brilliant - every single one is overflowing with individuality in design. Their crest/symbol and goal seemingly never overlaps with another which made runs a lot of fun! Take the very first unit you obtain for example, Spinel. Spinel does a single, giant physical hit. This giant hit will additionally give him Champion where if someone behind him gets hit, it gets stronger - which in turn makes him stronger, because that buff provides an increase in damage to his next skill. There are other characters that can hit exceptionally hard with a single physical attack like that, but none of them have Champion - they'll have other effects or buffs instead that help them achieve their own goal in some way! I especially love his actual character design, as he's brimming with the energy of an underdog wanting to prove himself. My only gripe with Vivid World is the same one I had with Vivid Knight, and that's the wording of all the effects. They're definitely not as bad as I remember they had been in VK, but that could be I've put so much time into VK that I understand the language better. Regardless, even now VW has confusing verbiage for many of the effects that contribute to an occasionally confusing experience for newcomers and veterans alike that can be frustrating. You will likely get confused, some things still continue to confuse me after 30+ hours into the game. If the effects were more clear, Vivid World would've been an easy 9/10.
I'm not into auto battlers , but this one was really interesting!!! You can control the units somehow and fight with the gems, is not just "Watch them fight", it' pretty cool. The game is short, but after you beat the main story, you unlock more content. The art and the music is pretty neat and warm. If you are looking for a cozy game, with strategy , this is a good choice. It doesn't mean it's easy, the difficult is cool and there are hundreds of combinations. The units have "Union Atacks", you can unlock more stuff while progressing (like tree skills, but in for everything). And I'm repeteaing myself, but the art is pretty cool!!!! Oh, and you can play both Steam Deck or PC!!! It has cloud save, I haven't tried coop, but It' has cooperative with one friend. I played the game alone.
This game is a total gem (no pun intended). Im a stickler for a good auto battler but the genre is surprisingly sparse, i'm also no stranger to roguelikes. This game scratches both itches perfectly in a stylized and inventive format. It got a little repetitive towards the end but thats mostly because of just how much of this game I grinded through without even realizing it. For 20 bucks going to a small indie studio this game is 100% worth the money.
Cool art and there's way more content than I thought, play with a smart friend
Great iteration on the previous game. Lots of new mechanics that fit well, and a really nice story and lore to go along with it.
